• You could be a kindergarten teacher for 35 years or you could become a well published Ivy League professor.
• You could be a beat cop for 40 years or you could become the police chief of a major city.
• You could become a career enlisted man in the military or you could become a 4 star general officer.
• You could be the branch manager for a small regional bank or you could be a deal guy at a major investment bank.
• You could be a school nurse or the head nurse on a cardiac ward.
• You could be a primary care doctor or a renowned brain surgeon.
• You could become a good real estate broker or a successful commercial real estate developer.

Every one of those jobs is honorable honest work. But prestige comes with excellence and high achievement.
