Would you join a professional association that has "FO" women as "entrepreneurial" members?

Membership at a place I used to subscribe to has gone WAY DOWN since someone who is reportedly a Fans Only "Entrepreneurial Associate" joined the association. No one wants to be associated with this woman... especially other women.

It's a little funny, but sad as well bc the association had a fairly good reputation and was doing a lot to keep membership up... and now it's tanked completely.

Would you join an association for professional networking knowing that professionals from that industry were suddenly joining as well?

I know, I know, I screwed it up. Tbh I didn't know what it was till recently. When I was told about the gal at the association I asked "fans of what?" When I realized I was pretty embarrassed.
