Worked at mcdonald's for a few months. I told my gm that I was putting in my two weeks a couple months ago. He told me to write it down and put in on his desk. I changed mind and stayed. I decided to put in my two weeks a couple days ago. I wrote down that it was my two weeks. My last day, and thanked them for the opportunity. I handed to him, and told him sorry. I saw him reading it while he walked into his office. Even if I didn't see him reading it, I would assume he read it. Should i just work my two weeks and not show up, or should I confirm with him?

Stand your ground and tell him that you're leaving. That's it. If you're tired of this job, don't let him talk you into staying.
@Joe917 if you said two weeks, stay until he says otherwise
Lol. Don't even give two weeks. That curtousy has been obsolete for 15 years.
