I’m supposed to be starting on Tuesday and that start date is dependant on whether the company can give me a laptop.

The thing is I feel really unwell because I have stopped taking an anxiety pill cold Turkey due to having finished my supply and not knowing that, that was the last set of pills left and now I’m suffering pretty bad withdrawal symptoms like Hallucinations, drunk feeling, nauseous, just unwell. The pharmacy will be giving me another supply on Tuesday. On top of that, the heatwave in the UK is making it impossible for me to sleep nearly every night. It is now 6am and I have not slept at all. I don’t feel ready for Tuesday to be honest and I am not quite sure how to say if it is possible to start the Following Monday. Obviously, I don’t want to lose this job because of it.

This is the most underpaid profession in my opinion because a lot of these teachers are very smart with a lot of experience and only take in $55K on average as a senior teacher with lots of experience.

As a starter, they make $45K per year. Can we afford to pay them more or are they paid well enough?

Job I'm working at is played with a fuck ton of immigrants this allows workplace abuse and when a Canadian actually wants to get an actual job they come into an environment that is toxic harmful abusive and is a complete nightmare and should not be allowed to exist. The place is morally despicable it throws out tons of trash and I hate it every fucking day it's cold it's wet it's damp the only reason I go is because it makes me laugh and I get paid 600 bucks a week if I want to if I work 6 days a week for 10 hours straight each day yeah 60 hours gives me about 800 bucks but it's not much, like I'm not happy I'm not happy at all it's bullshit I hate it there I'm not happy I'm miserable the pay is awesome but it's not worth it

Like I literally got ridden up because I took my day off on my scheduled day off. And then I came to work on my day off because I'm allowed to and I told them hey you going to write me up because I coming to work on my day off now Jesus Christ

Also happened to my friend Mike a cardboard guy he got ridden up because he didn't come to work on his day off

I think I know what I'm actually going to do I'm going to get that retail store job where my nice suits and every day when I come to work I'll always bring a box of coffee and donuts to my team members and enjoy my part-time position. Because I'm tired working 5 days a week not getting any thanks for it or anything at all out of it it's a dead-end job not quite I can still develop my skills I could say but it's not worth it maybe I'll become a skyrise window cleaner they make good money

As a teacher, most jobs I hear students say are "doctor, lawyer, police officer, or musician," even here in South Korea. Sometimes you'll get actor, video game streamer, dentist, interior decorator or something like that, but I've NEVER heard a kid ever say they wanted to grow up to sell life insurance. That's just... Depressing. And yet, many people do it.

Which job would be the most depressing thing to hear a kid say they want to do when they grow up?

My Opinion it is Bull Shit and more lies.

1) You can't really count teachers coming back to teach , drivers , and food workers as NEW jobs. They never really quit them.

2) Massive layoffs by Ford, A T & T , and many other corporations

3) Can't be small businesses because of inflation, fuel prices, and taxes.

4) These numbers are from companies asked if they are going to hire people. No one wants to say it is too bad to hire because it reflects bad on them and running their business. (same in flea markets , you could see that they didn't sell anything and yet they say oh I am doing well )

5) This is the Gov't and they can't go a day without lying to the American people.
