Which one is correct? Pay its money whenever you want or pay the money whenever you want?

I am not a native speaker and sometimes I can not decide the right form of some sentences. I know that second sentence is fine but the first one pay “its money” ( the price of something) is fine too? I am tryna teach my sister English but not want to teach something wrong, ı need a native person’s perspective pls 😅

Only “Pay the money whenever you want” is true
Only “pay its money whenever you want” is true
