When you get a bill that says "Pay us or we cut your service" do you rush to pay it?

Finally got me two jobs aaand one of them i gotta call out tomorrow. But with this money, i can pay for my bills that have been very patient. So how do you guys deal with those bills that try to scare you?

Ignore it. You have to miss quite a few bills before they'll come out to cut your gas or electricity off. I know that because a friend kept getting a bill for a property that no longer had a gas supply. They sent threatening letters monthly for 2 years before coming out.

My bills are paid for.

The only people I've had a hard time with and who sent my shit to collections was Verizon. That shit went on for like 10 months and they ended up giving my number away. Had to call them continuously every month.

They were supposed to freeze my account for 24 months. They kept charging me when I wasn't even in the country. Every time i called, they said it was foxed, when it wasn't. At the end of it they gave away my number and sent that shit to collections. Once i had that straightened out my number is still gone and I dont plan on ever going back to them again, lol

I always pay my bills on time... around here, they don't send you warnings lol.. they just show up, kick the door and cut your fingers off...
