I laughed a lot about German and Americans. Is that really so?

My Georgian friend and I had pretty awkward arguments about paying the bills, I wanted to pay and she was catching my hands so she’d be the one to pay 🤣🤣🤣

She almost beat me up so she’d be able to pass her card instead of me. 🤣

Don't know. When we're surrounded by Americans, it's going to be an American that pays. I think the only thing my dates have paid for is the gas to get to the destination. As far as my family, it's usually the elders who insist on picking up the bill.

Funny story, when I was a kid, I went with my parents to a steakhouse. I payed for dinner as repayment for something. I barely had enough to cover the bill and my Dad asked me about the tip. I exclaimed "Tip? Tip? The food wasn't THAT good!" Both of them laughed and taught me about tipping etiquette.

My position is very simple -- I hope and expect to pay for any and all expenses associated with a night out, and I feel inadequate when I'm unable to do so.
