I can only imagine how difficult it might be. You probably have to be pretty savvy with computers and cellphones to find one on line, which I am not and probably a lot of people have trouble finding work via cyber space....

Should I go for an job I don't really want (with only a $1000/yr increase) just because someone who's been nasty to me will get it if I don't?

This would be a lateral move for me, so it wouldn't be a promotion. It would be a thousand dollar increase, with a different load of responsibilities not geared towards my personality (a lot of sales, recruiting etc)....

Do you think being suspended is a good punishment for kids who have misbehaved at school?

Suspended is when the child isn’t allowed to come to school for a few days or so. I’ve never understood what’s so bad about that. It seems like the child would enjoy it.
