In the land of overtime I’ve worked overtime every day for 15 years & I’m still working overtime so when extra hours are up for grabs although my employer asks me I usually respectfully decline especially in the summer months. On the other hand if I’m saving up for something I usually say yes to additional overtime. As for my coworkers they do not have to worry because there is overtime for them as well.
I'm definitely not doing anything in the summer months
Thanks for the MHO’s.
I snatch up everything I want 🖕🏾 them coworkers

There are jobs that still do that?
Hell my boss won't even pay me OT: if I have even ten minutes of overtime I get a lecture on how "we're on a budget." They rather send me home early on Fridays than offer us extra time-
... which I'm totally okay with. Money is great, but I like my sanity too, lol. I honestly can't recall my job ever offering us extra time. I know on the units, they might let nurses do so if they're short staffed, but rarely in clinical or office settings at the hospital.
Yeah I'm a nurse so I choose my hours. So if I want OT I snatch it up from other nurses🤣 for the month. Then the next month I chill 😎 go back to regular hours. I usually snatch the hours up when there's a goal I want. I'm not committing to them it's just helping feel in gaps with clients for that month or week. Whatever I choose
If i dont like a job, Im not going to work more than im initially scheduled to. I dont need the money. I like to make money. I like to save up. But i dont need the money. Plus i got better stuff to do. Like sleep 🤣
If you moving boo rack it up texas , nc, and Florida have gone up in price. what's enough where you are may or may not be enough for these states and living alone.
I never saved for here. The goal was always to move so i’ve been saving for NC and TX for 5 years now. I've saved enough to cover years of rent and ensure i dont have to work for a year or two when im a mom
NC and Texas are next to Cali prices now. Especially in desirable (aka safer areas)
Yea I've always prepared for the worse. Thats why i said i could quit work rn and just chill but i dont won't to go into my savings for another state. I dont save separately for my current state
I was hoping it's just the pandemic thing but I don't know. The way the US set up i said i better get my coins now. And now putin trippin. I ain't got time for that🤣. Biden need to mind his business
Cause I'm literally planning for cali now. Shiii I miss my family
Yea Cali not for me. I’m too loyal to the south but over here we still consider NC to be the south. Yet we dont consider FL The south lmao
The dating scene seemed/seems a lot better than here. I feel like here southerners get married and establish a family sooner so there's not many available men. Cali is a whole different story. Plus I miss being around fam. People say nc isn't the south they call it the east coast and I don't get why. I thought it was the south. That's true though Florida don't seem like the south I don't know maybe it's because I've been in Miami.
Cali is too much for me and i’ve only dealt with crazies from there. But I've dated a firefighter from NC, a college student from NC, and a goofball fast food worker. They were all better than the cali dudes
Actually let me add Fayetteville dating scene is cool if you like military men. It's a military town.
Really I've had nothing but good there and crazies here. When I say crazies here I mean I find out they're married. Like wtf I don't want no damn married man
Yea im not into military men at all. I tried breaking my rule of that twice but both ended up hqving ptsd so nope not breaking that again
Military men are fun to me🤣. They like living on the edge. Fast cars, Military base parties , constant traveling. I enjoyed it. The ones that been in combat yes have ptsd. But if they're in logistics , aircraft, engineering, mechanics , and officers they're usually fine because they have not been in combat. I avoid the ones who've been in combat because that's where the mental issues are.
Yea all the ones i dealt with were marines and all the ones i almost dated were airforce. But im good. I’ll pass. The closest to danger im willing to go is a firefighter. Not tryna date cops nor military
Cop is definitely a no for me they crooked af
The one i practically dated turned out to be a damn near rapist and pedo so like wtf kinda cop
Girl most cops are crazy and abusive. Especially these days. I would never date him unless he look like Julius Locklear cause baybeee might be some exception there but other than that naw.
I dont like his beard 🤣 He would’ve had to look like Ruzek, Atwater or Jay from Chicago PD for me lol

You watch Chicago PD! Girl I just started you better not spoil it 🤣.
Lol my fave seasons are 3/4/5/6. The rest are alright. I watch Chicago Fire too and my fave seasons are 2/3/4/5 but it got boring season 6+. I've never watched Chicago Med although all 3 crossover a lot. But yea rn Atwater hunky in the early seasons. Around later seasons my boy start lookin good and fit
That crooked cop is something else
Who voight? Lmao can't stand his mf ass until the current season where he quiet as a mouse. Everyone must be me too’ing him behind the scenes like Sophia aka Erin did 😂
Yes 🤣 bruh first episode season 1 he was on some bullshit. I seen the current episode because my tax lady was spoiling shit. The little girl was stole from that chick house I think voight know them hoodlums that did it. But I told her I ain't gone watch no more I gotta start from square 1
Nah voight sees his team as his children and they see him as their dad. The team crazy as hell and all be going to jail for eachother. Fck that 🤣 So he definitely didn't know cause that was the adopted child of two of his squad
Noooo don't tell me. I don't know yet🤣. I'm still in season 1
I wanna see the new show though with Micheal b Jordan u know the one with the little boy who got powers.
No is it on cable? I only watch cable channels so if its amazon or netflix or something I don't know
It's called raising dion
Oh it started in 2019 but its a Netflix show
Snatch them up. Look after number 1, unless you need something from one of your colleagues, then share hours with them to keep them on side
When I used to work hourly, yeah I would take all the hours I could manage while still balancing school and personal time. I’m actually glad I don’t have to do that anymore though, to be honest.
I just work my set hours, there’s guy’s where I work need the money more than I do. So I let them have the extra hours. I only do them if I’m backed into a corner.
I have the same shift everyday. I always work overtime cause it’s double time. I go in on the weekends when it’s offered. Gotta get that money
In this case where I'm not working full time, only on call, I'll take 'em. Money is money, and dreams are roads I'm gonna take.
When I was working Shift work and I was approached by my supervisors to see if I wanted to work over-time I'd tell them to ask the married guys first, then come back to me id there were slots remaining.
I work full time M-F, so the hours are always the same.
I try to leave the overtime up for grabs. I avoid it if I can.
Father does not work more than scheduled. My goals are located elsewhere.
I have a proud record of never turning down overtime.
Other, only ever had the option to work my 8 hours.
Salary paid don't have options 😜
I'll grab em if I feel like it
Nah, salary, the more I work the less I get paid.
I used to pick them up
Schedule, yes. Overtime, no.
I like working 3 times a week
