assumptions since I dont' know what kids you are talking to.
their diet is American garbage
their music and media is garbage
their parents and home environment is crap relative to the Asians
teachers/schools let them get away with Sh!1 attitudes rather than holding them accountable and responsible for doing work.
the families lack the resources for additional support resources, tutoring, after school. I see this in my area... the kids got no chance without public $ or volunteers. but thats difficult because often the kids lack discipline.
that be a parenting and social problem. Please support the proper disciplining, love and development of your local African americans.
decades of damage. I see that in a friend. his parents were addicts, he was fostered out. he's a fraction of what he could have been.
note that there are Asians with problems. it's mostly parenting issues. The family unit is key.
The solutions are found in the above.
The one advantage "black" people have is church and athletics. this where they can get the resources to develop better.
Asians are no miracle, they are just holding to traditional values of hard work and wealth accumulation, stingy, eating real food, two parent families with extended large families.

I'm not racist, but based on observation alone I think that there's clearly a genetic difference in terms of intelligence and I think it's ignorant to not acknowledge that. Just like black people are generally better in athletics and are the fastest runners in the world, best basketball players, and known to be the best endowed, other races are known to be sharper. And I'm not saying that every black person is dumb, just like I'm not saying there are no well endowed or athletic white or Asian people. But ON AVERAGE, this seems to be the case.
Here are articles written over the years, using statistics and coming to objectives conclusions:

You're clearly liberal and probably on board with trans in female sports too.
I'm not being racist. Half my family is black and I have black in my genetics as well. So if anything any insult I'm making is directed towards myself.

You haven't given a single point. You've only thrown insults. You clearly haven't read the articles I linked either. It's quite apparent to anyone that reads this that you're making a fool of yourself and living in your own delusions. I'm done here until you can come up with a single point to debate with. I welcome any attempt.

@CrabCakes11 "The Economist" did a study on race and IQ several years ago. If you can stand to challenge the narrative you have been told to believe, it might be worth reading.

i know people are going to be pissed about the stereotypes, but they're TRUE.
black children usually have less support/push/involvement from their parents (or from a single parent only, the other parent is usually out of the picture). and Asian children usually have schooling held so tightly to their worth. it is how they are raised, for sure. there is a reason why tiger mom is a saying.
black children could easily miss more school than Asian children. maybe they need to help their single mom. maybe they couldn't make it to school, car broke down. i don't know. but stereotypes are there for a reason. because it is the usual way of things.

Let's put it this way, the brightest most qualified teachers seek employment at the best schools. The first thing any teacher looking for employment does is look at performance of the student body. For example in Florida all schools in a district have a rating from A+ down to F. If you are in an A-B rated school, you are in a relatively decent working environment with the bulk of the kids and parents that care about education. That's not to say you won't have a handful of problem children you have to deal with every single day, but at least most of your students are trying on some level and most of their parents will hold them accountable and keep them on track. There is a company culture that education matters in A-B schools. Once you get down to C rated schools you tend to have a lot of behavior problems and neither kids or their parents care about education. You can reach out to the kids parents and you will probably get cussed out for letting the parents know what their kids need to do to succeed. There is a cultural degeneracy in the community, and therefore it is difficult to teach. It becomes a hostile work environment. Thus, the least qualified teachers that are really just looking to collect a pay check end up teaching at these sorts of schools. They didn't make the cut at the better schools, but they still want a job. If you were to cross reference performance to race, you'd find the A-B schools have a low to average Black population and a high White and/or Asian population. Once you get to C and lower schools, typically the Black population is above the national average. Since Black families on average do not care about education, they not only do not try to succeed, they also drag everyone else down with them by being disruptive, violent, etc.

yes i can, cause i'm educated in the field. so if you conduct a multivariate regression across all the known variables that determine educational success, ethnicity is actually not a factor at all. it's all habitus. habitus is in a nutshell "lifestyle choices, values and habits".
the thing is: a lot of the habitus based variables that determine educational success strongly correlate with certain races. so that's where these racist ideas of a "discriminatory school system" come from. that's why we are lead to believe that certain ethnicities are just worse at school which is factually not the case.
it's neither in the shool system, nor in the ethnicity. it's all a question of values, habits and lifestyle choices. if black people would adapt Asian values, habits and lifestyle choices they would likely be as successfull as them. or at least the gap would be far less pronounced.
the only problem is: you can't feed a "black lives matter" racist narrative if you know that ethnicity is actually not the reasons for the problems. you can't keep using that victim complex so it's easier to just say "hurr durr society is racist"...12 Reply- 11 mo
@exitseven i'm not saying that the school system is flawless but race disparities within the school system are not caused by the school system.

No I don't believe I fully can. I'm a Swede on the other side of the world and these issues often have many underlying factors and contributors. I can say as a political scientist however that factors which does influence these things often come down to the family unit, how have these students grown up and in what environment. If I recall, single parent households are overrepresented among blacks (or black people/afro americans or however you prefer to be referred), as well as cultural impediments such as a long standing disrespect for academia and high achievement which is socially viewed as "being white". This is just from bits and pieces I've picked up from observing over the years though. It's definitely not, as many might want to suggest, genetic. I remember a social experiment was done where a group of young black people were purposefully put to grow up somwhere in germany around german kids of a very academically high-achieving culture, where valuing education and study was a priority when raising kids. Once brought up in such an environ the black children displayed the same academic results as their white german friends.
Culture, values, and functioning families. These are keys to success.25 Reply- 11 mo

It is documented in book, "The Bell Curve." The difference in grades and IQ scores, throughout the world, The differences in the ACT and SAT scores. The fast that their crimes rates are higher. Obviously, people lower intelligence have less self control and lack the intelligence to avoid committing crimes.
- 11 mo
That book has been highly controversial and highly critiqued by several noted academics. It has rested its entire argument on four assumptions on what makes intelligence which haven't been proven.
- 11 mo
facts* are there, and I am not a socialist. But if a claim lacks substantiation then that has nothing to do with political affiliation. Any intelligent person understands that.
- 11 mo
People aren't gonna like my answer, but the reality is that this notion has been created within black society, that your reputation on the street will get you more respect than an education. Also, a lot of young black kids have realized they can make easy money doing things like sports, music and unfortunately elicit activities and also hand outs. Basically, they have no incentive to get educated. Their priorities are different from other people's and they basically live one day at a time.

In response to your update, they DO, but WHY?
- 11 mo
Who knows what the causes are, but you aren't wrong. It's like the people who migrated north, their brains evolved along with the rest of them. While the ones that stayed became stuck in a niche. It's weird, but there have been legitimate studies done to back up what you say
- 11 mo
Very true it doesn't take much intelligence to survive in hot climates where food is plentiful. That is why Chimps primates do well in Africa but there were no chimps up north during the Ice Age. During prolonged winters there was evolutionary selection for higher IQ created by problems of raising children, gathering and storing food, gaining shelter, and making clothes.
- 11 mo
That somewhat makes sense

Without checking statistics my wild guess would be "Asian"families are also 4 paygrades higher than "black"families in seattle, on average.
So maybe those "Asian"students won't neeed a job to work a student job to pay for stuff. If you grew up in a household that actually had money to waste on books, education, tutoring, you do get a heads start.
Also if your parents are working higher paying jobs, its likely thay also have a high eduction and can help you better. And if you earn more, you can work less and are more likely to be home when your kids are finished with school, for their entire life.
Also if you live in a poor neighbourhood and have the "wrong" name everything is harder for you.00 Reply - 11 mo

I'm guessing White achievement is closer to the Black graph than the Asian graph.
All this means is that education and learning is more important to Asian culture, and Asian parents instill that in their children.
I'm surprised the graphs show achievement going up over time, since American education has been in free-fall compared to other countries for years.
00 Reply 535 opinions shared on Education & Career topic. Yes. It’s not gonna be a (snap) instant educated society across the board. Not when our society is more segregated than during Brown V Board of Education in the 50s.
Not leaving out black families either. They share in the fault. Reading to children at young ages, playing classical music in the womb and sitting down for dinner each night has surprising effects on kids grades.00 Reply- 11 mo
