To my knowledge, which I am in way of claiming that's the truth, regime supporters (islamists, sharia supporters) didn't like his way of westernizin and modernizing the country. And the Western countries didn't like he was having strong national economic policies. So I assume it was a job between these two to overthrow Shah Reza Pahlavi.
You can google iran before and after the regime. Specifically Iranian women. It is shocking.
@lyannamormont I remember looking at pictures of 60s and 70s Iran. It looked so Western like Europe, Australia or the US. They dressed in fashion of the time, and even drove American cars.

Do people really find princess Diana to be that attractive? I don't know, some of these were not beautiful at all in my opinion also it would've been a lot nicer to see some brown girls. And no I don't just mean African princesses and queens just brown girls in general would've been nice.
