A Slideshow review of the original Now cd and how it compares 20 years after its release

I thought it would be fun considering we are on 70 something of Now cd's that have been released. I thought what a great way to end the decade with a view of what the first Now Cd contained. To me, the now cd was an infomercial. I am not sure if they still do them because now, the series sells based on an expectation that Now Cd's have all the current music but at the time they were just another infomercial and for me and many others, this is what it looked like.

It might be a quite fun and or humorous journey. So just for fun, I am just going to simply list the tracks off. To see exactly how different it was 20 years ago.

Vaguely remember Everclear. I loved Lennie Kravitz when this song came out. I want to believe a small part of it that he's handsome as heck but I like rock.

My daughter and I heard Sex and Candy the other day on the rock station. It's kind of weird to be listening to with one's "child". It's one of those guilty pleasure songs. Reminds me of Rihana's S &M.

The DJ at my daughter's elementary school end of the year state tests are over party/field day accidently played at their in the dark glow dance. I happened to be there at the time. He caught it halfway through.

I thought I had more pockets of missing music periods like when I was in graduate school and while I was raising my daughter. I don't feel so bad for my old self. I listened to a lot of radio when she was young versus listening to Pandora. The cool thing is that everything comes back around eventually.
