The colors change on the leaves
The Apple cider smells sweet
The mosquitoes have gone back to sleep
Along with the bears and the bees
Colder nights and bonfires
Hot gooey s'mores delight
Pumpkin pie and hot chocolate
On a cold brisk autumn night
Caramel Apples and hayrides
Candy corn and cozy sweaters
The cool Carolina mountain air
Makes me wish for snowy weather
The Halloween ghosts and goblins
The Thanksgiving turkey and dressing
The coming of the Holiday season
Is a time to count our blessings
This year has been rough
It's really tested out faith
But, we almost made it through
It's all going to be okay.
