Blue Ridge Fall, A poem about Fall in Appalachia

The autumn wind embraces the trees.

A change in color blooms like "The Wizard of Oz" coming out of sepia tones

The leaves crunch on the ground as footsteps tread over

Make a big pile and jump on in

Chilly nights and football lights take over the Carolina weather

The harvest is almost ready for gathering

Pumpkins carved apple cider brewing, and ghost tales of Appalachia by a campfire.

Fall has arrived in the mountains.

Over in Tennessee, square dances are taking place.

Virginia apples were picked, making them into cider.

The Georgia peaches are getting prepared for warm cobblers and pies

The Kentucky moon is shining brightly over the coal mines.

Thanksgiving is almost upon us.

Time for some good old Southern cooking

Warm turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pecan pie

Make the house smell of an aroma of cheer.

Yes, It's Fall in Appalachia

Mother Nature's scenic beauty on a canvas Bob Ross could not even paint

The colorful trees along the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Shenandoah Valley

Are a magnificent masterpiece to see.
