Boomer Phelps, the son of superstar swimmer Michael Phelps, made his Olympic debut in Rio in 2016. Decked out in pint-sized red, white and blue baby clothes, he joined his mother and grandmother in the stands, cheering on his dad.

Then, on August 9, 2016, after Michael Phelps won his historic 20th gold medal in the Men's 200m Butterfly Final, he climbed up into the stands to kiss his son, gifting the world with an anxiously anticipated closeup of little Boomer.

And what about all that "booming" noise in the Olympic Aquatics Stadium? Isn't that overwhelming for an infant?

Not to worry. Boomer Phelps came prepared with his very own set of patriotic, noise-canceling headphones.
