I've always felt that Aquaman was vastly underrated. He just suffers from poor writing, thus not being taken as seriously by casual and avid DC comic book readers. Aquaman/Arthur Curry has actually proven a few times in the animated Justice League shows and movies and a few comic books that he can definitely hold his own against superheroes in Wonder Woman's power level.

Agree about Aquaman. Fans consider Blue Beetle to be a lot like Iron Man but I'd say he's different. He was created by another company but DC acquired the rights to him later

Human Torch is a bit in the comic, but in the movies he acts like the star.
