Why do people always skip Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas?

It seems every year that whenever Halloween is over people just go straight to Christmas and forget about Thanksgiving. Why do you think people do that?

Probably because there aren’t Thanksgiving movies or songs to play. And Christmas is the next holiday after Christmas so stores try to up their Christmas merchandise to get people to buy before it’s too late.

Well mostly coz Thanksgiving is mostly just a USA thing? I have heard Canada has some form of it? But different date and all I guess...

Thanksgiving is an American thing and probably be a thing of the past soon due to SJW movements and historical revisionism.
