I made myself quit smoking, but if I still smoked I'd be vaping. The ones that make it look douchey are the same kinds of people that light up a blunt in public. I mean I've seen them just really have to puff on that vape inside of stores. They know how non-smokers think it looks but they think they look cool. They feel cool when they have that big cloud blow out their car window.

Plain ole regular smokers don't need to make a mushroom cloud of smoke for no reasons... they just need the nicotine.

The best way to tell if it's a douchebag vaper is to ask them their Nicotine level. If it's less than three, they are either really close to finishing their quitting process or just a douchebag. If it's 3 or more, they are most likely doing it for one of two reasons. To quit smoking or a healthier alternative to smoking. The reason I say this is because douchebags mainly care abo ut making clouds or hotboxing. If you have a low nic content then hotboxing is easy, if it's higher, you'll be buzzed before your room or car is completely cloudy.

I think because it's about trying to look cool/fun. With smoking and everything else it's actually doing something to you. Vaping is sort of to trying and look cool like you're smoking but you're not actually *doing* anything.

It's like sucking up lines of sugar; you're a lame try-hard. At least that's how I think it's perceived. I don't really care. Though if I do get the vibe that they're just doing it to look cool then yes I'm going to see them as lame douche bags.
