Horror by far, closely followed by dark crime or dark thriller movies. I feel like a movie is always way more enjoyable if you can immerse yourself into the world of the movie. Something that lifts you up or teaches you something or makes you feel strong & untouchable, maybe where the characters have to strive for something, these are the best ones.
Violent crime and malevolence are bad enough when they happen IRL there's no way I want to watch and re-watch it in my imagination in excruciating detail. I'm not a psychopath.
Thanks for the MHO
Those movies about sports (kids playing baseball or basketball team or cheerleaders) are usually really boring for me. Oh and all those action movies were effects are more important than dialogue (but if the action movie is like Reservoir Dogs I like it). Also most of teen movies like those from Disney Channel or like Twighlight saga. Ugh.
But if I have to choose strictly from that chart would be sport.
Why many people dislike musicals? *cries in spanish* D':
Musical is a format, not a genre.
I am not a fan of super *** movies where a person is trying to find themselves or learn to just "be themselves." Coming of age can be awesome, but a movie that doesn't do it right creates a cringe.
My favourite genre is "unique". I strive to watch movies which show me something new and I can't foresee the plot from miles away. When I choose movies I'm going to watch, I look for something I haven't seen before.

I watch nearly all the film that gets release because I work in the cinema. But I hate horror the most because there's not much of a story and most horror films are not even scary. Plus I hate when the cinema plays horror people in there get scared easily
It would probably be the musical - I don't like fake stuff - musicals seem to fake to me - because everything is pre-scripted. However - I like traditional musicals like Phantom of the Opera - just don't like the more low tier types of musicals.
Romance. And I love horror films but some are cringe worthy so sometimes it can be my least favorite genre. Some science fic/fantasy is also kinda dumb.
sport movies because they always have the same cliche story and music in the background
Let's go drama, it is too slow for me, some dramas are not as bad as others but overall they can be slow
I think fantasy is my favourite, followed closely by sci-fi and thriller.
I have just realised that I'm an idiot and cannot read. Please ignore me
Sport, Romance comedies, musical, teen, chick flicks 😒
Horror, because I don't understand how people in the middle of the movie think oh this is just a movie? That's what I all ways think when I get scared from a movie
Horror, specially the ones about demons and all that stuff. Eeewww.
Drama... Especially of the sort that regularly win Oscars these days.
I am pretty open to most genres, however, I do NOT like Horror movies. Just not my thing.
Horror. I'm an anxious person and can't deal with the jump scares.
Teen movies. Iβm also a total weeny when it comes to horror.
Cowboy, and sport usually suck.
Musicals are lovely.
Romantic comedy - Honestly once I see tag I skip it over, I don't even read blurb
Romance genre. Most romantic movies are beyond cheesy. I donβt see the point.
Horror/fantasy movies have become SO prevalent and SO overworked that thy have really turned me off lately.
My least favorite genre : Comedy
Now...

and sport movies
and some science fiction
oh least fav? ah sorry folks I meant to say which ones I "didn't" like.
lets see, romantics, horror, bad quality,
The entire comedy genre. Anything overly romantic.
MUSICAL by far. Sports would probably be next. I do enjoy the others though.
Romance
I like romance as a subplot but there are literally no movies I like where love IS the plot
Kinda like them all in their own way , but to be honest musical movies can be a bit weird 🤣
Musicals and romance. But it depends on romance genres sometimes.
i honestly like them all IF they are done correctly... for instance UWE BOLL Movies are NOT made correctly at all
Horror. Not because it's scary, but because most movie directors don't know how to do a damn good movie
Family is by far the worst in my opinion. Followed by romance.
I don't think i've seen a single mystery film. But probably romance.
A tough choice between "Romance" and "Sport".
But I'd say Romance is the absolute worst.
Horror. I see enough of it, I dont need factious stories
Anything with a disposable cgi army.
Teen comedies, musicals.
Romance and musical. Fucking. Awful.
Teen comedies
Horror, too lame and goofy
Musical 😒
Fantasy or adventure I guess
Horror
Musical ( sometimes )
Etc
I hate Sci-fi so much >.<
Country, bluegrass yuck
Dear lord I read that wrong. Sorry. I did not like romance, war, or history movies
Horror cause I'm a scaredy cat
Comedy. It's not my favourite.
Horroe. Fave is Mystery
*Horror
Musical for sure. I like every other movie type.
Sports. Sports are boring
Romance... they are too damn cheesy.
Horror, disaster, and sport
Romance
Action, the stars are usually real life PUSSIES
My favorite is Martial Arts/Action.
Sport, romance, teen drama..
Probably sport/fighting.
Most boring shit ever.
Sport, I just can't do it.
If you want men to be more emotional... Or to understand how male emotions work on a deep level, sports movies are the best window. They're like the male versions of The Devil Wears Prada.
π just saying... I cried... Bawled in fact at the end of Rocky, Hoosiers, and Rudy. And I'm old school machismo "men don't cry". Sports stories (and war stories) are what move men.
I don't have much emotional reaction to the Notebook, but I watched and tried to get it... To understand the girl I'm with who was seriously all over it and bawled at the end. It gave me insight into her... And more importantly gave me ways to touch her heart.
I can't stand musicals.
Romance followed quickly by musical.
I love all of them...
I need a life
Horror; it's so damn boring!
It's a tossup between Musical and sport.
Fucking Musicals. Christ... gives me a headache.
African American or lgbt
Musical by a long shot
