What Girls & Guys Said

I agree. Men are quick to throw out that we are crazy but take no responsibility in making us miserable.
Ya Natalie Portman because it's always the man's fault🙄
Haha lol I kinda have to agree even though I'm not a feminist. A lot of guy's don't understand women at all when the problem is literally staring them right there own reflection
Well then fine another chick and start eating some fucking pie ok?
@Malik00 what? Sorry I think your on the wrong conversation or something. I didn't understand any of that
@Malik00 Good point.
She’s a women celebrity so she has to hop on the feminist bandwagon.. who actually cares if men call us crazy we always talk about how much a disappoint men are. The hypocrisy jumped out
She seems like a good actress, but political statements aren't really her thing. She seems to be a very emotional person, rather than facing things with a logical input. What she said was uncalled for.
I think we can equally make each other crazy sometimes. But some people truly are without provocation. So yes in some cases she is right and some she isn't.
The quote is bad because it places the entire onus upon the man and relieves women of any responsibility, irrespective of whether he was truly the problem or if the man in question was actually dealing with a selfish, manipulative partner.
Girls are the sweetest but if a man does not pay attention to their feelings but just to their pleasures damn than you have played with her dignity and you are still waiting for her to be like before that's why you men said that women are crazy and difficult.
She's trying to make those comments a gender issue, instead of realizing that women can just as easily refer to men as "crazy" or "difficult." She's playing identity group politics, which is the usual thing for Hollywood types.
But either gender can be crazy
so her whole speech is irrelevant
so she thinks it's a man's fault when a woman won't stop bitching for you to turn off the game and go downtown at rush hour to buy her some BBQ chips, and when you get back she bites your head off because "she wanted Sour Cream and Onion"? Nah, bitch. Sorry but not all your mental issues are a man's fault. Sack up and take some responsibility for your own bat shit crazy mental issues. k thanks byeee
Celebrities are NOT fucking experts on dating, relationships or politics. In fact they likely have a much more convoluted worldview than the average person because most of them live in a bubble of fame and fortune.
Stop listening to them. They are only going to make you dumber.
I think Queen Amidala should have been more aggressive against the Trade Federation. She basically let them invade Naboo by not taking serious action.
You know. Maybe someone is called crazy because - and I know this is a difficult thing for many people to grasp - because that person IS actually crazy?
Hey she's from Star Wars!
I should probably listen to the entire speech before making a judgement call. There's probably a wider context to what she said.
That Natalie Portman has become yet another one of the celebrities I definitely wouldn't mention in one of the many "which celebrity would you want a date/sex with" questions that pop up on this site.
Irma Ida Lise Grese was crazy and difficult.
however I did not do any bad things with her.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irma_Grese
"If a woman says to you that a man is crazy or difficult, ask her "What bad thing did you do to her?"
There are men and women who are falsely accused of being crazy, and plenty of men and women who ARE crazy. Don't judge someone solely by what you *hear* about her/him, though.
By the same logic, every time a woman calls a man a pig, or dick the man should ask what bad thing did she do to him? See the logic fails.
Attach to Portman the same warning beacon that has been used to warn men that Emma Watson et al. are man hating insane Feminists.
Women like her are why I don't associate with western women in real life. They are just to crazy and difficult... and what I did to her was be born male, which was apparently far more than enough.
You cannot generalize when every individual both male and female has different personality traits. Some people are LEGIT psychotic regardless of their gender, skin color, height, weight. Etc.
I think George Carlin hit the nail on the head when he said " Women are crazy and men are stupid. And the reason women are crazy is that men are stupid" There's a lot of sense right there.
I was going to post just THAT!! Bingo mate! Thumbs up for you.
@Unit1 Mr. Carlin talked a lot of sense.
He did. I loved watching his shows. I couldn't stop being amused or laughing. Because he reshapes the truths in such a way, that it's funny and true at the same time.
He was an awesome dude.
We as men always call women crazy or difficult. But 9 times out of 10 we are causing them to behave that way. And if a man is crazy or difficult nobody usually holds it against us. Definitely a double standard as well.
I am a bit wary - There will be some cases where it is true but it also feeds the paranoia that some men feel "Feminazis, Women are always right etc"
Well , a "star" gave her opinion with a little sentence and some people think it is relevant. That's all
So if a man complains that a woman is crazy or difficult to work with, I am supposed to dissmiss his opinion and assume he is just a lying asshole.
Lol... no thanks
What did she say? Is that all she said? Just avoid calling women crazy or difficult?
And I call guys crazy all the time.
I will Say, bae, She has Sure Come a Long Ways from those Sam Walton Days when she Appeared in a True Life Movie that was Groovy. xx
The mere fact that, as I type, 2/3 of the men disagree is a true indication of the scope of the problem.
I am 16 and guys are not complicated. I was friends with lots of girls... seeing that they can make a simple thing complicated is actually not sexist or anything. They actually make it happen.
@Tilin29 I do not disagree with you and that is an astute observation from someone your age. That said, I don't see the relevance.
Read the quote again. It is broad brush nonsense that blames the man and excuses the woman irrespective of her actions and attitude.
@JackJPershing It is a broad brush and I understand what you are saying. Sadly it's often the truth though. It's a broad brush to say that most players in the NBA are black... but it's true.
I agree with her mostly however there are women who are crazy or/and difficult for no reason.
I’m talking from experience 😭😂
Your points don't make any sense. I wasn't specifically referring to you. The opinion was ment for the question not for you, my bad.
Sounds to me like Natalie is speaking from personal experience to her that may not apply to anyone else.
Such a statement can't cover all circumstances, anyway.
This is partially accurate. My boyfriend calls all of his exes crazy, and now I know why they were crazy after being with him for two years. It's because he is flirtatious and treats them like crap.
Break up with him
My ex was crazy, She was abusive, she left me with severe scars on my face from slicing me up... So no i strongly disagree with her and any one else that says bullshit like that.
Woman are crazy and difficult though.
I love Natalie Portman as an actress but that statement is ridiculous
Not sure about her speech... but I wanna do her so bad
Lots of women are crazy and I didn't do anything to them.
Always a victim... the standard MO. It's the Patriarchy!!!
Egads.
No I don't agree with her, I think she is just being crazy and difficult.
Strongly disagree. I've been in relationships with women who were bat shit crazy. I didn't do anything to make them that way.
Not gonna watch the video, but that statement seems to be nonsense with an extra bit of generic-ness.
Such a statement is illogical and very conditional.
Natalie Portman is a fucking moron and one crazy ass bitch.
Yeah like it was my fault a girl i used to be friends with went apeshit on me for no reason. The girl has some hidden bi polar or some other mental illness going on.
dumbass statement
Natalie lost credibility in the last Pirates movie. She barely had any before that.
Such lunacy.
This is blatant blame-shifting, and should not be tolerated by either gender.
Depends on yhe situation. There are some crazy women there, but I've also noticed men use it as an excuse to berate a woman.
Feminism has been hijacked by stupid women who create there own struggle and dishonor those who have fought for the freedoms they now have.
This is an example as to why modern feminism is so stupid. Feminists today think that guys are always to blame when girls don't get their way.
the term "crazy" is not exempt from being applied to either gender.
I mean she has a point but at the same time, some women were just born crazy
Women make themselves crazy expecting guys to be something we're not.
No... she's basically saying any time a woman gets angry its a mans fault.
I think people should stop giving a shit about "rhetoric" and just live their lives.
I don't know what she said but she's hot and I agree with her :P
Depends on the circumstances. Sometimes she'd be right, and a lot of the time she'd be wrong. Is what it is.
It's a two way street both genders do it to themselves give it a few years a new party will rise up and be the same shit over agian
