I have never seen the 8 in the middle of an 8 of diamonds but my first memory of a card game is when I was 8 years old. An Indian kid taught me a card game and he didn't know the English word for it so he gave me the Indian name for the card game and the game was called Ikabucha. It is still one of my favourite card games today.

  I am an Indian and i have never played this version of card game. Maybe it is a regional name of that particular version of playing cards.
  
  I never played cards until i went to college and we all bus mates had about 2 hours time for one side journey.. My seniors and juniors both taught me many versions of cards.. Example : Bluff , Teen pati , memory, court piece etc..
  We also played Uno
  And yeah.. we played all games with 2 deck or cards combined 😊
