I was a romantic kid but I first tasted true love at 17. The love that burns a hole in your soul and keeps you up at night.

She taken at the time and because a close friend. And over the years she went through other relationships but I never got a shot.

And then a few years ago she came out as lesbian and that kinda shook things up.

We are now 10 years later, we both moved away and yet ended up in the same city (by mistake). We're closer than ever but I can't get through to where I wanted to be.

In the meantime I have been with many women. (Maybe too many) but even when I think I've moved on I subconsciously sabotage my relationship and end up alone.

So it's safe to say I'm "unlucky in love"

I think I thought I was in love at 16 and 17 , in hindsight it was never really real , but you know , teenagers are pretty screwed up mentally , I had much to learn about life , it was not a healthy feeling at that age , but I could not be told.
