Certain characters and situations are...

There are tons of fathers and husbands that shamelessly manipulate their daughters and wives like Hiram Lodge.
Teenagers get pregnant everyday.
Gangs and drug abuse are real issues.
Rich families are usually hiding a world of hell behind their perfect facade of a life *cough* *cough* like the Blossoms.
We've all known or even been a victim of someone as wicked as Cheryl's mom.

It was realistic in the first season however it escalated way too far in the later episodes. I mean come on, they are like 16 and they are BARELY even in school despite the SATS that came out of nowhere. These teenagers spend more time hunting killers, selling drugs and driving bars (they are still underage how the hell could Veronica even open the speakeasy) oh and let’s not forget about Archie’s epic prison break or the ridiculous gangs and how jughead acts like some king of the teenagers in the gang. Wow sorry for the rant.

Lol no! Teenagers can't own propety. There aren't secret underground teenage prison fight clubs in pools and people do not escape prison and run away to be lumberjacks and then go back to highschool. Teenagers do not run gangs.
