Is Riverdale worth watching?

I never watched it despite its popularity. I saw a short clip of this series where a guy breaks ice with his fists to save a girl. Googled and found some people saying it's definitely worth watching while some people said it's cringe.

The visuals actually looks cool, y'know they've got this dark, eery looking small town thing going on with a little bit of traditional American culture reflected in the letterman jackets and the little diner or whatever, and they've got that neon lighting which is infused into the style of the title on promotion material an' all which gives it a kinda' retro-pastiche feel.

But then whenever I IMDb it and read the synopsis, check the cast and ratings an' all it just sounds like some kinda' trashy, shallow OC or Dawson's Creek shit or something so... I wouldn't like it.

Which is a shame because stylistically it catches my eye.

I never watched it. I remember when it was first advertised i thought to myself "Wasn't that where Archie and Jughead lived? It turns out that is whnt the show is based on. I have never seen it.

I’ve watched all of Riverdale that’s out currently, and I would say don’t watch it if you have other things to watch. It’s worth watching if you have literally nothing better to be watching. It’s cringy in most episodes, the first 2 or 3 seasons were okay but with these latest seasons, the writers are taking the piss. Luckily the next season is the last one.

I tried 2 eps and its not my style. I skimmed the Archie comics in the newspaper as a kid but never enough to learn anyones name but his. And i used to love Cole Sprouse but he look too gloomy in that show. Nahh

I also used to read those Archie comics as a kid. I didn't know there was a Powerpuff Girls remake, however I saw they had made a series called "Velma". As a Scooby Doo fan I never bothered to watch it, it looks awful.

First 2 seasons I'd say yes. After that it becomes to girly love triangle thing and sing a longs type. Way too much f'n singing for me.
