But recently I have noticed that we're starting to see more penis in film and TV show too..
What do you think of penis showing in TV/film now?
But recently I have noticed that we're starting to see more penis in film and TV show too..
Thats not true. Penis does not equal breasts. It equals vulva. No movie experiencing "full frontal nudity" has ever shown a vulva without being slapped a rated x or nc17.
Penis has been shown in films such as Bruno, Hall Pass, finding bliss, sirens, the night before and those get rated r. Some films get rated pg13, and one film was rated pg, can't stop the music.
It's not new at all.
You don't see nudes for women. You see butts and sometimes tits. Which is no more than what guys show.
this must explain all the silly dick pics that get sent.
just because it on tv kiddies, dont mean you have to do it too.
No big deal. HBO shows a lot of dick in their shows

The same as when I see a vagina
Yeah they never show vaginas. They show mens chest in every movie
Although it is considered a taboo in media, I think that it is a good thing for two things:
If women are able to be shown nude in films and television, then so should men... Equality for both sexes, as showing one or the other, only objectifies the one sex/gender.
Secondly, it helps normalise the human body, as men are legitimately insecure about their bodies, including the ones that ask penis-size related questions on here. It will show that not all guys have massive penises, making others feel better about what they have.
However, there are still a lot of people, who are understandably against it, as it is a taboo in many forms of media.
Just my two cents on the subject.
@MaximisPryme Good post! Rational, well thought, and posted, with follow-up and reasoning, and never made it personal!!
@JackSmy Thanks bru, I appreciate the comment. :)
it's hilarious how hypocritical women are about this. They're in the streets screaming that boobs are equal to men's chests. You know, that whole free the nipple thing? Now they're saying that because they show boobs in movies, it's only fair that they show dicks? So now boobs = dicks? rofl. And whenever they do show a woman's "downstairs" business she's covered in a merkin.. A bunch of fake pubes. It's like a wig. How does fake hair = naked dick? Just further proof women are irrational and can't comprehend actual equality.
@Shutupman there's a lot of them on here. And now they're all posting that boobs = dick, instead of their usual feminist crap about boobs and male chests are the same. Hypocrisy makes me giggle. :P
Don't really care. Doesn't bother me, similar to how female nudity doesn't bother me. Also, this isn't a new occurrence or anything. People just haven't been exposed to the movies and shows that showed sex/intercourse. The mid 1900 movies showed a good bit actually. More than people expected anyways.
LOL
You keep acting as if this is the same thing. "Normally we only see nude from women"
Seeing a penis is seeing the actual organ. Labia, vulva and clitoris are NOT shown in films.
It is almost always topless (which the men already do anyway) and butt. If frontal is shown it is pretty much always a patch of pubic hair. Actual SEX ORGAN is not shown.
This is actually more nudity and level of exposure than women normally perform.
@Shutupman
I would much like it if there was no nudity at all.
I for one lose respect for the actors/actresses that are willing to do that for money and two and find pretty much every situation and scene the writers/directors come up with that have the nudity to be needless and exploitive. How many films does the director seem to find a reason to have to follow a woman into the shower and show her showering? All the time. Even if a woman is showering they don't really have to show it. She could shower in a bathing suit and they could just film her from the shoulders up... etc.
No, it is their intent to show nudity just for the sake of it. I think many writers and directors are kind of creepy and pervy.
It is quite easy to write two characters as in love and romantic... without requiring them to strip naked and simulate sex. Stories are easily told without that... writers/directors are just lazy, someone pervy that they keep requiring this.
Rhett Butler carried Scarlett up the stairs and they closed the door. She was seen content and smiling in her bed the next morning. We know they were intimate. Gone With The Wind seems pretty popular. No one boycotting it because there isn't enough blatant sex and nudity. Writers and directors are many time lazy and pervy.
I have to agree with @ChiPaPa that "penis does not equal breasts". It is interesting that there is a big disconnect between the movie industry and real life on this issue. In a number of places in the USA a woman can legally display her bare breasts in public while in the same places any display of the (male or female) genitals is considered indecent exposure. I'm not talking about breastfeeding. There are places where a woman can walk down the sidewalk topless and it is legal.
only one thing strikes my mind. Game of thrones themesong begins playing in my head. it doesn't matter if its not game of thrones that i'm seeing a penis on. hey, this could be a fun dating tactic. whips out dick, i commence the game of thrones song da na danana na
It's about time we got to see some nice male butts and dicks outside of a porno. There is nothing wrong with full frontal nudity. Ask a nudist which is more arousing a naked (Wo) Man or one wearing clothing? Chances are they'll tell you the clothes make them more sexually appealing.
I think it's asinine. At one time films didn't even have "sex scenes" at all. It was a better time than now. I do think you should be able to show what you want in film because of free speech but I think people should be a lot more discerning about what they watch and what they expose their children too.
If a show has mostly male nudity or no female nudity I’m out. If I wanted to see naked men I’d go to the local gym locker room.
And I’ve also quit shows that were too much about sex whether it was male/female cause the shows had sucky stories. Bad producers/writers try to cover up horrible scripts with nudity
I don't mid if I see it.
There is a movie called The Assignment. Now even though it was a female actress, the story starts out with her as a man. And they show "him" nude (with penis) and everything.
I know this isn't the exact yopic, but how do you feel when you see a woman nude on tv?
@TheBootyChest Seems on topic to me! Never heard of this movie! Did you like it, the movie, but also did the part you mentioned, make sense, as part of the movie? Like if that part was censored, would the movie make sense?
I liked the movie, didn't bother me to see a pamenis, wouldn't change the movie if they bleeped it.
I think it's definitely to much showing the bottom of the opposite sex is borderline line getting on porn most of the time when a women is shown naked we still don't see her genitals because there tucked away in her body while a man Naturally got it hanging.
You never see a womans vagina though. You see ass and boobs, no vagina. The equivalent of boobs is the chest of a man, which is shown even in movies for kids.
I don't mind seeing a penis on TV, it's just that, a penis. I'm just not a big fan of the hypocrisy surrounding nudity on TV
@Shutupman no, I meant that men's chests are shown on kids' shows, while women's boobs aren't.
@Shutupman sexualized to who?
@Shutupman so what can you compare boobs to? The penis?
@Shutupman so boobs and vagina are the same?
@saralee111 Jesus... why are you yelling and insulting someone? Women wear bras to help support breasts. If you don’t want to wear one, don’t there are plenty of options out there.
And if it weren’t for men life would be pretty boring.
@Shutupman do you want boobs to remain sexual?
@saralee111 so if women with mastectomies walked around topless, would that be okay? does she still have breasts? or is she not sexualized anymore?
@Shutupman well that is their purpose. but real men will still find a flat-chested woman sexual and attractive. why? because they have a vagina.
@Shutupman I don't think they should be seen as sexual, just because it sparks sexual arousal. Women can be aroused by seeing a topless man, and that's not considered sexual, so why should a topless woman be seen that way?
We show ass on TV, and that's pretty sexually arousing too, but for some reason, boobs are taboo.
I was raised in a place where boobs, even though sexualized, were quite normal to see. For example, I've always seen boobs at the beach.
I have yet to meet a girl that sexualizes a males breasts and nipples. Women like muscles on a man, but most women don’t get sexually aroused by just looking at a man’s body, women aren’t that visual. Perhaps it really does depend on where you live, as I mentioned it’s definitely a sexual thing here.
Not gonna lie, I'm always surprised but I love it, even flaccid. I wish I could see more of what certain celebrities are hiding down there. I get disappointed when I hear later that it was a prosthetic.
I do not see men's manhood's on television but if I did I would turn it off for it is wrong to see any ones breasts , vaginas or males private parts anywhere except for their wives or husbands to see ! Thanks
What movies are these? I need to know for research purposes
What type of movie are you watching? When a female is nude you don't see anything unless she has her legs spread. With a male you see the whole enchilada.
I feel really uncomfortable with it, I don't care about boobs but we don't see women's vaginas in movies and I don't want to see dick either. Genitals could be kept off screen.
Ideally no nudity, male or female. But if it's going to happen I'd much rather it be more equal. At this point female nudity has been sexual where as male nudity has been primarily gross dudes or comic relief.
It just seems stupid to me, and as far as I've seen nobody really appreciates the change. But there's apparently some people out there who were very upset about gender bias in nude scenes so I guess they're happy.
