Charli XCX is my favorite female pop artist... but this reminded me of her cool little punk rock phase back in 2014 where she toured with an all-girl punk band. Her album at the time, "Sucker," was very inspired by the classic punk wave but had an 80's synth-pop and a more modern Euro-pop twist on it too. They'd occasionally do classic covers too...

Nowadays she's kinda making a comeback, doing a lot of unique and edgy electro-pop with some more mainstream pop tracks here and there. But she has a very rock-and-roll attitude and stage presence, no matter what she does. I mean, as pop as she is, she's really not the typical pop star... Ughhh, she's great... :D lol
