In order to believe that Sam wasn't cheating here, I would have to believe that he was compliant out of fear. However, Sam didn't know that Alice was a robotic war machine until well after her tongue was down his throat. In the movie, we're led to believe that Sam was not at fault, but I don't buy it. Some part of him wanted that action.
