Why do girls think there to good for cartoons/anime?

It's not all girls and some guys are like that too but usually I find it's more females. That refuse to even have cartoons/anime mentioned to them and a lot of the time they have no real reason to check these shows out they just don't want to. Some of these cartoons/animes have the best storylines known to fiction and it's become far more popular to watch these shows these days. I don't get the strong distaste, yet they will love shows like the real house wives of whatever or sum other reality tv bullshit. Why?

They view it as bullshit in the same vein you view their chickflicks and shows as bullshit.

Get it into your skull that there is nothing wrong with liking or disliking mass produced content.

Just because someone likes Rick&Morty but not JoJo's Adventure does not fit them into some pariah profile.

Because for many people, cartoons are still reserved exclusively for children. To you, they are some of the greatest stories ever told. To someone else, they are childish nonsense with no value. People like different things and that's ok. That's the subjective nature of art.

Because they see cartoons as something for children and have shit taste in TV shows. Its absolutely grusome to witness people letting them get away with their hypocricy. Ecchi shows should be mainstream!
