What is wrong with video games? Personally I'd much rather be playing Settlers of Catan than Call of Duty. But finding two or three other people to sit around a table for about an hour is difficult when you work nights.
I don't play "video games", I play computer games, and no, why would there be anything "wrong with it"? What about women who play computer games? Why is it just men that are mentioned within this question?
As long as they are mature enough to balance gaming with their adult responsibilities, then why wouldn't it be? It's no different from some guys being 'car guys' and working on cars in their free time.
"Adult responsibilities". Like what? Slaving away at some highly dangerous and/or stressful job for most hours of the day, and just to "feed the family"? Ha! No thanks!
If you don't grasp the concept of adult responsibility your haven't grown up. You need to take care of anyone or anything your responsible for, it might be only yourself. But responsibilities is something you kind of gather in life. It can be a pet, a family, a job, a girlfriend, a friend, a car, a house you name it and there comes a certain maintenance tasks to them. Adult responsibility is to put these task above anything else. Which is why you usually want low maintenance variants of each kind you just need but don't really care about.
@Adam1978 Okay, well that clears things up a bit, although pets, a job, and a friend are all things children can have as well, so I wouldn't describe them as being "adult" responsibilities. They are just responsibilities full stop.
@Yaaten Doesn't necessarily have to be a dangerous job, but as an adult, if you have a job, you need to make sure you are able to get to said job on time, so you need to be able to know when to stop gaming for the night, so you are able to get up in the morning. You need to be able to remember to pay bills, keep your house/apartment/room somewhat clean, etc. Also, in general gaming shouldn't completely dominate your life, as this could be bad for your mental health. by the way this also applies to any female gamers, I don't want people to read this thinking I'm speaking about any of that 'gender-role' crap. I myself am a gamer, and even though I agree it can be fun to spend hours on end in a world much, much, better than the real one, there needs to be a balance.
Ok if you are actually helpful thats good. Thats a mans role to provide and protect his wife. So i agree with that. Most video gamer stereotypes are lazy guys with no ambition
What does that have to do with anything? Some games force the protagonist for "special scenes" but mostly you don't see anything (depends on rating) but in most games it's optional. However, it's a video game... it's not a real woman
Yes, they "get vagina", but at what cost to their integrity? I would rather play computer games. They don't whinge, judge, demand things, and don't try to run our lives.
Of course, video games are ageless and fun af. The phrasing of the question insinuates that playing video games regularly makes a man less of a man or immature and I thoroughly disagree with that

Yeah that's pretty normal if you ask me, I do the same.
Umm sure, why wouldn't it be 🤨 I think we're way past the point where video games were considered to be for children only.
That's just it. They were never "considered to be for children only", but too many people seem to think they were.
As a game developer, I'm sure you can guess my answer.
Yess lol fair enough

Okay. Now my feelings are hurt.
:(
I don't play regularly. But I used to.
Stop it.. it's fine on occasion
Haha!!
I am just kidding.
You know I love you.
Lv u too

If it's their full time job (yes, there are gamers who make money) then yes.
But if it distracts them from other parts of life like kids and a family, or it affects their work performance than no, it is not ok.
I'm the sole provider of my household and pay all of the bills. I'll damn well do what I want with my spare time.
Ok but you could do better.
Cars, handyman, something useful to others.
I maintain my own vehicle, home, and equipment.
I have zero interest in being productive at all times. You have better things you could be doing now.

@Udhrhiddu are you my twin lol
There is nothing wrong with playing video games. The issue is if they play videogames for hours and hours while neglecting his grown men duties.
I don't see why not, as long as it doesn't stop them from doing what they do in terms of necessities, then why not?
How someone enjoys their free time is their own choice.
I don’t see how a grown man has time. Especially one who is married and/or has children.
However if business is getting handled why not?
I don't mind it to a point...
Whatever he needs to decompress at the end of the day is fine with me... as long as it doesn't involve chasing other women !!!

@I-C3_ME I meant chasing other women in real life... not part of the game !!!
Yes as long as they’re not obsessed and they take care of their girlfriends too
Does yours game? S. Doesn't just reads a lot
No. He’s like your guy. Just reads a lot.
Why don't the "girlfriends" find their own hobbies? Why would she need taking care of? Can't she take care of herself?
@Yaaten I meant emotionally
Emotionally? In what way?
@Yaaten you know. Listening to her. Comforting her. Cuddling with her. Showing he cares about her.
Oh, the girly stuff. Yeah, nah!
We don't have to take care of ourselves. We are both with men who stopped playing games became successful and now get vagina
Yes, they "get vagina", but at what cost to their integrity? I would rather play computer games. They don't whinge, judge, demand things, and don't try to run our lives.
You need testosterone miss. Men have better things to do
gwen I agree with you but this wowgirl and even moreso are kinda cringe
even moreso Yaaten

Yes, of course. As long as it doesn't take place over more important things. I play videogames myself & still have a life outside of them :)
What is ur favorite game
Currently Coldwar 😊
Well as long as he's taking care of his other priorities. You know earning money and paying the bills.
I don't see anything wrong with playing games everyday.
Some people like to watch tv shows others like to play video games.
It's fine. Playing video games for lots of hours a day then I think that's very immature unless its his job to play video games online.
For me, gaming is a sign of intelligence. I'd very much prefer so long it doesn't interfere with his work / sex life.
Why should there be a problem? Playing video games, like listening to music or reading a book, is just a hobby.
