Have you ever taken depression medication?

I did take escitalopram for a year 6 years ago but not against depression but against panic attacks I had back then. Why do you ask? Are you considering taking some? If so, it is very important that you are well informed about all side effects! Write to me before you consider taking them! Google Post-SSRI sexual dysfunction before you take them!! It can cause very serious side effects such as complete loss of libido which can last for the rest of your life, even if you stop taking the pills!! Thank God it did not happened to me. If you are already taking them don’t panic, it’s rare. When I read about the possible side effects and that they can persist even after discontinuation, I decided to properly discontinuate them (which means slowly phasing them out). it was not listed on the European package insert at that time and nobody told me! If I knew before, what risk I am facing, I would never have taken the pills, because I „only“ had panic attacks, (which are horrible) but they can be treated differently and I never had severe depression or was suicidal or something like that.
Yes, I take medication for depression daily. It works very well for me.
My doctor has me on Seroquel. Below is a link for you about it.

No, most people that know me tell me I should though..
I’ve taken Zoloft, lexapro, buspirone. Now I just microdose and it works sooo much better plus I don’t feel like a damn zombie

It didn’t work for me. That’s why I don’t take it anymore, instead I now take natural supplements like Ashwaghanda and St. John’s Wort which work very well for me.
About ten years ago I was depressed. I was going through some issues and my doctor prescribed some pills. I don't know what they were. They did not help the depression but they gave me side effects. I stopped taking them when I found myself driving up a one way street the wrong way.
Yep not high in strength but it helped so. Feels weird like its not you but at the same time its a less unhappy you. Essentially I just didn't fixate on negative thoughts as much. You have to work with it and figure out who you are with it. My experience anyways
Nope never have I think if I ever was depressed I'd like the old-fashioned way just drink a little bit too much so when I woke up in the morning I wasn't depressed anymore I was hungover but I won't do that anyway
no thank goodness.. My wife on the other hand does.
I've known her since she was 21, and i was 29. I just know a bit of her history.
