It's a weird sort of thought process. For example, we all have heard allegations against Michael Jackson, but there are so many good songs it's hard not to enjoy the music. Am I never going to watch Se7en again because Kevin Spacey is in it? I mean, the moral answer should be yes, but that also may not be completely realistic to keep up with the personal lives of every artist and actor I may see.

I think for me, I would separate the performance from the person. I'd most likely think negatively of the person themselves, but appreciate the creativity. There is no comfortable answer on this one for me.

Well i kinda had this experience. One of the the members of my favourite music group was accused of selling prostitutes and circulating their sex videos online. After that i still listen to their music videos and just skip his part. I hate seeing his face too now

I have mostly a moral objection to it. Same if watching something with one.
However if it never actually supports that person like watching a film on a website or downloading music without paying. If no money is actually going to that person, it's much less of a bad thing to me.
I love house of cards, but don't bet on me buying it on dvd.
I like some Marilyn Manson songs but don't expect me to by merch of his or those songs. If i knew beforehand i ever listened or watched the thing i would of chose not to.

depends... actually, so many actors, athletes and artists out therethat have done really bad stuff, and I am sure many more that we don't even know yet.

and where would I draw the line? what about other despicable crimes, what about inventions, technology, services... health progress has a very dark past and history for example, so I don't know...

I feel it would turn into a guilty pleasure (no pun intended).
Like sometimes you love a particular song so much that it kinda becomes hard to skip, but then all the while you think about the allegations on the artist-the rest is history.

Yes. No matter how much I like an artist/singer/actor, if it comes out that they have raped someone, that's al I can think about when I see/hear their work. I stop watching and listening to their work

No. I like the artist's work, not the artists themselves necessarily. Chuck Berry was likely a pedophile, but he's still one of the most influential musicians of the last century and his music is still great.

Yes yes yes. I recently stopped listening to Torey Lanez and Chris Brown bc of their issues (colorism, ignorance etc.). I don't support their actions and won't support their income by listening to their music.
