How would you fare in the Hunger Games?

In this scenario, there are no traps set by the Gamemakers (but players may set a traps) so it's every man for himself. Teaming is allowed although it isn't guaranteed so I'll leave it to your honesty to determine whether or not you'd have a team and whether or not you'd betray them if an opportunity arises.

So... what are your thoughts? What weapon would you use? Would you choose to fight or would you choose flight? What's your strategy?

Brains over brawn. I am capable of both. First, I would set traps in the immediate area where I plan to make my base (a. k. a where I would try to rest and eat). Once that is done, I would try to keep a low profile and let the other competitors make the first move. I would learn as much as I can about how the others strategize. Once that is done, I will try to form a team but expect to be betrayed. I would not betray my team, but I would be ruthless to the first traitor and try to scare the idea of betrayal out of the rest of my team. Once the games are near the end, I would have a meeting with my team to discuss whether we will dissolve and play the game or try to find a way to sabotage the game so our team does not have to dissolve.

Very poorly. I am not the least bit psychologically suited to killing people, and those who train their whole lives for it do NOT have that problem.

Also pre lockdown I was doing field archery with a long bow.

I am a ambush type of fighter in these types of games. I rather wait and kill someone with a long bow than go up and fight
