How bad is your "Gamer Rage" when you are at a frustrating moment in a video game?

I have broken things before over a video game

I just shout and yell things but i don't break things

I just cuss sometimes

I get mildly frustrated but i don't show it ever while playing

I never have gamer rage while playing

I don't play video games so this doesn't apply to me

No, I'm not kidding. I actually punched a hole in a door, I got so mad at my bad luck/rng in a game once! Before that, I used to break controllers and gaming mice as well. It was pretty bad.

I've calmed down now that I'm a bit older, but yeah, if a game infuriates me bad enough, I have to take a breather to keep my rage under control. Games are relaxing my foot... the AVGN has nothing on me when a game ticks me off bad enough!

I'm not that bad. More of a "oh for fucks sake" whenever I die. But my heart rate gets up into cardio fat burning zone when doing boss fights.

I don't really play video games so I don't remember ever having gamer rage. Road rage apparently is a thing though. I know one of my cousins would yell and curse if he was playing a game he's into. I remember once when I was at my grandpa's house he was playing some type of basketball or football video game and he said he gets crazy while playing and would curse if I wasn't there with him

I wasn't about rage... but I could get tremendous amounts of frustration due to my OCDizziness tendencies and fixations to score higher scores than the game required, complete every single task in videogames... particularly Driving games in which challenges were against the clock and you had to do a series of perfectly timed moves to beat the challenge in first place... I also had a serious need to complete games with the less possible I could get... for example just one pistol or even just a knife... and many times I had a C-class racing car to compete against the S-class challenges...

many SO many times I wanted to throw the controller at the screen but I never did something like that, I was just one big sigh... and then start over, and, at the same time, the thrill of fixation was as enjoyable as the frustration was frustrating... lol

I raise my voice, swear, punch my lap the arm rest growl maybe slam the controller down a couple of times on my lap. Never broke anything though. But when you're doing a 25 min boss fight and still die it's super frustrating, but the feeling of finally beating him after levelling up more is super gratifying

Mild. Pretty much like that last gif, it's like you want to hit something but you don't because it won't help, you feel powerless and just sink to the floor. I won't show it in game. I curse a bit but that's it. But if it's bad, I just... floor sink XD

When I was a kid: I shout. lol. I never break things because 1 - my parents would kill me and 2 - I already have a logic that if I managed to survive from 1, I no longer have the thing I broke. Good luck to me asking them to replace it.

@AgentRED Win or lose, I just enjoy the game. I would rather lose a close game than totally stomp on someone. It's all about the challenge and competing. You can't win all the time, so I just have fun playing.

I get angry to the point where i feel that immense pressure in my chest and when i want to just break every single piece of my PC. But of course i never act upon it, playing Escape from Tarkov and S. T. A. L. K. E. R trained me to hold the anger inside. If I acted upon it and broke something i know that I would regret it 5 minutes later.

Most PvP online games lure longtime players with "seal clubbing". I'm always the noob seal in such games because I don't play much. However it doesn't cause any aggression in me, I just push the uninstall button. Offline games are often so monotone they just lie on my SSD without being played.

It used to be really bad. I'd slam my keyboard or mouse on the desk multiple times and I'd start getting mad at people around me. Thankfully I haven't broke anything back then and I've learned to control it.
