I would probably want to think about this more than 10 seconds if it were an actual decision affecting the rest of my life, but for now, this is the first song with a nice intro that I would be cool with.

My main criteria was that the first 15 seconds can't be annoying, since there are so many situations where I am only entering a room to leave again or to get to another room, so whatever song I pick it's the first 15 seconds I'm going to hear the most often.

The whole reason behind using "Hail to the Chief" was that James Madison weighed like 98 pounds; he was so small that people literally wouldn't notice. I've often said that if I was a wrestler, I'd enter the ring to the opening of "The Final Countdown", but that's a bit too confrontational for everyday use. Maybe "Eye of the Tiger", or the opening drum roll of "We're Not Gonna Take It", but I'm not usually that emphatic (or that 80's, really).

I'm probably giving this more thought than you meant.

Okay, I think I'll take the opening of Rhinoceratops vs Superpuma. Emphatic and declarative without being aggressive. Enough to declare that someone of importance has entered the room without drowning all conversation.
