My 150 watt per channel STEREO, with massive floor speakers, listening to vinyl or CDs, cranked to 11.
I'll be parked in front of it.
If this image isn't shown here, click the link. It's a single, cool image. I wonder how many younger people know of it.
oooooo 11
@zeitgeist057 You betcha!
I had that amp custom built to go to 11!
That's genius. Most only go to 10. That's like 10% more.
@zeitgeist057
One might think that.
But, NO, you'd be wrong, as you apparently already know from my seeing your added Spinal Tap clip.
It is merely an illusion, dividing a control knob into 11 divisions of 100, rather than the standard 10, providing, one might think also, that finer control has been achieved, but NO, once again, an illusion has been presented to us.
There is no greater control.
It is all in our minds.
The sound waves, though, yeah, they're frickin' real all right.
Do not be confused by numbers, be impressed by sound.
Be, "BLOWN AWAY".
I thought it was from the mid `70's. It was in quite a few National Lampoons and Rolling Stones.
If he was blown away, he couldn't have been using Maxell tapes! I can tell the difference! TDK, Sony and Fuji are much better. I'd buy Teac tapes but I'd have to mortgage the house to be able to afford one!! "Do I wanna eat, today or, do I wanna record Sgt. Pepper to a cassette?"
Too bad yours only goes to 11!
@FunkyMonkee The source for the photo says 1980.
You'll now be wanting me to ask how high yours goes.
Are you still waiting and wanting?
OK.
I'll bite.
Youtube by far. Larger selection, no ads with a little effort to block them, and easier playlist options.

I use YouTube a lot because it helps me discover music. So does SiriusXM. I will often discover an artist on a SiriusXM station and then look them up on the web or YouTube.
For instance, I'm listening to this right now. I discovered this because I was listening to SiriusXM Channel 53 (Chill) while driving. A took a snapshot of my car's screen so I could remember the artist then went home, looked them up, and find their music on YouTube.
This song I discovered because a snippet of it was used in a YouTube short. I used Google Assistant "Hey Google, what's this song?" while that short was playing...
I do have a SiriusXM Premium subscription, so I often stream SXM on my phone or my laptop. This time of year, I am usually streaming out-of-town MLB broadcasts on SXM. Between my YouTube Premium and SiriusXM Premium, I am spending about $40/month, but it's worth it since these are my primary entertainment sources.
When I'm in my car I just listen to whatever is on the radio. At home I'll listen to, and watch, YouTube clips that I've converted to mp4 files.
I find a lot of stuff on You Tube but there is a guy who does a radio show every Saturday. I record it because I and usually busy on Saturday and make a MP3 file out of it.
Out of these, I suppose Spotify for listening, Youtube Music when finding new music.
I overwhelmingly listen to music I've downloaded onto my devices: 99% of the time I'd say.
YouTube, Spotify or just plain old radio, when I'm in the car
If I don't have it in my collection (over 62,000 records), I'll try to find it on YT.
I use the library of music that I have at home or what I've loaded onto the 3-4 media players I have, occasionally I might use Youtube, but not often.
CDs and Vinyl. That other nonsense is only to sample music at best.
