What Do Think About 007 Movie No Time To Die?

Great movie ruined by a stupid ending. I hate the cliché of a nostalgic and or aging hero meeting a tragic end. Even though it’s not the director’s intention, I still pretend James Bond actually survived and went into hiding until he finds a cure. Better yet this film never happened, Spectre was Craig’s final Bond film.
At this rate, Indiana Jones is probably the next hero to meet a tragic end especially with who is overseeing the development of Indians Jones 5. At least Neo from the Matrix is still alive.

Hot garbage. But at least they cut out MOST of the wokeness. (In some markets; in Western markets, they have a scene of Bond crying like a little bitch for his "male privilege," basically; but its not in many overseas markets).

I think out of the Craig franchise it was one of the better ones. I think only Quantum was better. And it was certainly better than a lot of the Connery ones, and early Moore ones. And better than Goldeneye and Die Another Day. But still nowhere as good as the 80s era Bonds. They just don't make movies like they used to. I could tell they tried to bring back a lot of the old style and elements, but it's not an easy feat with today's film style.
THAT being said, the locations were AMAZING, and I'm glad they finally decided to show the northern countries in the summer. The action was good, not great. But everything in between was kind of dull and boring. But somehow, even with the almost 3 hour running time, it flowed quite well and didn't even feel like it was THAT long. I WAS expecting a bit more action, and it even seemed like they got to the lab fairly quickly.
The concept of a bioweapon wasn't too unrealistic, but I thought it was a bit silly that the villain, who didn't even get as much screentime or character development, was able single handedly wipe out all of SPECTRE, which MI6 and and the CIA weren't able to achieve. Quite an anti-climactic ending, to such an important aspect of the film.
The opening sequence was the strangest in Bond history, and almost felt like a horror movie. I also think they should have put the opening theme AFTER the flashback sequence. It was so strange having it 20 minutes into the film, and having an intermission of dialogue before the MAIN opening sequence. This made for the strangest Bond intro in history. But once again, the film's opening sequence was the best part of the film.
The theme song sounded like a dying cat, and was probably the WORST in Bond history. Though I blame the writer for this, and not Billie.
The ending wasn't as intense as I thought it'd be, especially by today's standards. I wasn't a fan of all the personal twists and the continuous story arc at first, from his beginning to his end in MI6, but now I think it was a refreshing take on the franchise and character. It sort of humanized him and gave him a life story.
Of course it was sad to see him die, especially after deserting Madeline for 5 years, and discovering he has a kid. It was sort of fitting in a way, but I would have much rather preferred to see him retire with his family in some Italian village.
Of course this makes me wonder how the franchise can possibly continue from here. Although it wouldn't be strange if he survived the explosion, it's highly unlikely that he survived the virus. The franchise has a history of lack of continuity, and I doubt Bond could be "just a code name", as there are certain traits ALL Bonds share. So they will probably just start a completely new story arc, and reinvent the character once more.
I also see no reason for the same cast to return, as Judy Dench starred in the Bronson era, and than the beginning on the Craig era, even though Casino Royale introduced him as a new agent. The franchise has never cared about continuity, so I don't see why it would start now.
Great movie better than specter
