What do you call this thumb game?

What do you say when you begin and end the game?

In New Zealand we call it Peaknuckle. When you begin the game you say "1 2 3 4 I declare a thumb war" then when you capture and hold your opponents thumb down you say "peaknuckle peaknuckle 1 2 3"

Im from Australia and I've never heard of Peaknuckle.

Usually you just say "1234 I declare a thumb war" and you try to pin the the other person's thumb down.

When I saw this question I laughed! Because when I was in college (a long time ago) I played that game, and I joked with people saying that would "eventually replace sex"... It was a dumb joke that got a few laughs. As if that thing with the thumb would be fun enough to have people prefer that over sex... I really don't think I've seen any mention of this in 25 years!
