Why do people continue to fake complain about the “gay agenda” being forced on children?
The norm of human existence is heterosexuality. As a child, I had no idea homosexuality existed. It never occurred as a thought. Because I had a father & mother, it made perfect sense that a man is with a woman. This is the only natural way to conceive children. I had a natural aversion to homosexuality once it was introduced to me by others. Nobody in my family or among my friends is homophobic. It's just that the sight of it was revolting for me. So had I seen it in a cartoon, it'd be a negative experience. I had no problem with heterosexuality being in cartoons & movies because, once again, my parents existed. Equally, transexuality only came into existence for me once someone else told me about its existence. Never did I have any thought about this being a possibility. Indeed, other than mental experiences, throughout 99.99% of human history it has been impossible to physically alter sex. As a consequence, neither homosexuality nor transexuality will exist in the average child's mind if never exposed to them. Heterosexuality will because this is the limitation placed upon human reproduction: only a man & a woman: a father & a mother. Learning about the existence of these alternate sexualities has actually not benefited me in any conceivable way. Quite the opposite: learning about these abnormalities (homosexuality, transexuality, pedophilia, polygamy, incest, etc) was generally quite disturbing or confusing for me. So having overtly gay characters would have distraught me quite a lot as a child. The only reason I am more okay with it now is because it has been forced into my sight so much that I no longer react much the same way. However, the same is true with other things I found distressing. For example, corpses. Try being a history-addict without seeing corpses in documentaries, photographs, or artwork. It is bound to happen and it did. Of course now it doesn't evoke the same reaction as it did in the past. But in actuality, this doesn't mean the object of distress became something my mind accepts as good. Exposure to non ordinary-heterosexuality at a young age was definitely damaging for me. It fucked with my mind a lot to learn these things. Heterosexuality (non-incest & similar both people at a similar age) never bothered me a single time. The only thing that could bother me was if one person was forcing the other. Ex: Stealing a kiss. As this would extend to any sexuality, it isn't related to heterosexuality, therefore is about the force-aspect, not the sexual one. In conclusion, from my personal experience, it is best not to introduce these concepts until at least around the age of puberty, which is realistically when some sort of sexual interest arises in kids (turning into teenagers). "But heterosexuality can harm a kid too". Yeah, well, 95%+ of kids will grow up to be heterosexual. If we're choosing whom to potentially harm, going by absolute numbers, it makes most sense to have heterosexual characters who will be representative of the relationships (parents, grandparents, etc) 95% of kids will already know about from birth, by virtue of existence in a sex-binary world.
I just do not care what is in the media.. My biggest issue is when they take a straight character. One that has been straight since its inception, and turn them bi or gay, or even trans. Please if you're going to do that create your own characters, don't steal from the original creators. Even my favorite openly gay actor, George Takei, was pissed off that his character, Sulu, was portrayed as gay in the latest star trek movie. He said that when they do that to existing characters, suddenly they become their sexuality and stop being a character.
Again I do not care if there are gay characters, I do not care if there is gay stuff on screen, I do care when they steal a character, turn them gay, and expect those of us that have been fans for decades to be ok with it. Come up with something original, or dont do it at all. Even the heads of most of the comic book houses (DC and Marvel specifically) state that they regret injecting woke bullshit into their comics, because it cause at HUGE decrease in people interested in them. Not kidding in the last decade alone comic book purchases have decreased by 80%.. Take Playboy adding gay men to their nudes.. Or removing nudity all together.. They have lost hundreds of millions of dollars over that. Take the all female Ghost busters, Not only was it ultra woke, it was just HORRIBLE. And it flopped so utterly horribly that they had to play fan service in the next one or it would never see another movie made... Or worst of all, Gillette and their woke commercial insulting and shaming men.. they lost 8 BILLION Dollars on that.. Yes BILLION.. Not million, Not thousand.. The VAST majority of society is so sick of woke bullshit that the term Get Woke, Go Broke is not only a thing. Its very much real.
Things where they did diversity and woke right? Take the most recent Dark tower movie.. The gunslinger was supposed to be an old white man, kind of like Clint Eastwood.. But Idris Elba got the role and he absolutely killed in it. It was awesome!.. Or the most recent DUNE movie. Liet Kynes. Again supposed to be a man according to the books, But the lady they put in his place was amazing.. Diversity and woke done right..
We already know that LGBTQ exists BECAUSE of things such as this. It's becoming a forced thing. Being shoved into places just so it exists there, instead of actually having a space created. That's what annoys me. And I'm not talking about this because I haven't seen this show or whatever it is. I mean in general. I'm talking about watching a show and having a random gay character/scene seemingly thrown into the mix in an awkward fashion all in the name of "inclusion". It's the same thing done with diversity. When done correctly it's fine. But it's seldom ever done correctly. It's usually very tacky and over the top. And in some places it's just not needed. Like in children's shows.

I think rather than having bad influence on kids as most parents suspect, I feel that we should have gay characters shown to them so they learn from an early age that it's okay not to be heterosexual, it's fine as long as you love the other person. And even if they aren't homosexual themselves, they may turn out to be well rounded people who are in support of freedom and the fact love exists in all forms.
I think mostly religious people have a problem with gay rep cuz it's be turning the kids against them by making them question if God made them flawed or they're criticized based on human society laws.
Of course they’re going to try and keep it away from there life they’re afraid of their kids catching it. I myself would not classify this as a heterosexual agenda. I would classify it as the morality police of the heterosexual community. That sounds a little better. It is always that judges say your lifestyles is immoral but mine's okay so the whole world should follow my lifestyle and tries to force it on them. It's much like politics you have two parties both thinks their way is the only way and both trying to ram their way down your throat. It's the same way with my lifestyle. I am a nudist however there are no nude beaches nudist areas around because we have the morality police of the Christian community that says body shame is the way to go and that the human body is vulgar and offensive. @fantasticass that sounds like absolute heaven to Me. To me not having to wear clothes is the ultimate freedom and I love being free free of life's burdens and free of society's judgement. I live way the hell up in northern Wisconsin where I'm surrounded by a town full of judgmental people that are very much unaccepting of anything but the lifestyle they've been taught to lead and then we have the one of the fakes the wanabe's that claim to be part of a lifestyle but know nothing of what they're claiming to be part of. I wish there was some way to take over a small lake and turned it into a open to the public nudist or clothing optional and see how many people would actually attend

It's not fake though anyone who complains about it 99% of the time is just a person who is ageist anyone who is not straight.
It's very clear as more open we become with it, more it has started showing up and been portrayed by fictional characters. Therefore it's not a fake.
The only thing i don't like is when basically If i was to create a straight female character as some major character that got popularised you can 100% bet someone would try to make fan version or even a company taking my work shifting that character to be a gay icon and gay herself. Or when it's really obvious they created a character just to pander to some group of people.
This all comes from me been a creator myself in stories and characters of course. And i have a big passion to character design were i don't want them been just a thing we have to pander to a group. The way they are written should be the way it is. It's hard to tell though what intensions are behind a writer if they are just creating a character out of pandering but it does happen and sometimes it's really obvious and sometimes it's not. So that becomes a thing. Normally it's super easy to tell in films though.
Most men are naturally grossed out by seeing homosexual men but most women dont have this type of reaction to any homosexuality. They even did a science experiment to understand why some people have this revulsion to homosexuality. I personally as man physically feel stupid sick whenever i see male homosexuality but not female homosexuality. I don't have anything against the gay men themselves but i can't help but get grossed out when i do see it. The only thing i do not like is when tv shows blatantly put the homosexual relationship on the spot light in your face over and over and over and OVER AGAIN! Its ok we fucking get it THEY ARE GAY can we move on with the tv show and the stpry now? Another thing i also dislike is when they change the sexuality of the character for no reason other than to show they are gay. They change years of character development and it adds absolutely nothing of value to the story only so they can virtue signal how great they are. It is an insult to all superman fans and LGBT everywhere in my personal opinion.
Ok imagine this. Because people nowadays celebrate LGBT, giving them a big parades, making what they identify so special and with kid's small brains, do you think they'd rather be straight? It seemed to me that now a days, a lot of teens maybe pretending to be gays just to feel special. I'm gonna give you an anecdote like you always do. I know many who were once straight but then their boy/girlfriend cheated so they stopped loving the opposite sex and decided to be lesbian/gays posting more gay stuff getting more LGBT followers and sympathy making them feel more secured because of their mentality "im straight so I'm probably not special" So it's kinda like they're doing it for security and you know kids fall for that easily and how people's self esteem these days are getting so low. And there's a big reason why we're most straight. We can't repopulate the world if we're all gays and if that even happen, I'm pretty sure you'd hate it if there's a straight pride parade going on for the sake of those kids feeling guilty for being straight.

I’m bi so obviously I’ve got no issue with gay characters it just feels like there’s been a lot of shoehorning gay dynamics into movies where they don’t make sense. It feels like virtue signalling and pandering rather than being just a feature of some of the characters which makes it a spectacle rather than showing a meaningful connection between lovers.
This is similar to how Hollywood handles stories of people of colour and trans people as well. It because the only/main interesting part of that characters background/story rather than just being a part of it. I find television in the UK does a lot better job of this, John Barrowman’s role in Dr Who/Torchwood being a good example of a bisexual character for example. It comes up periodically when he pursues a man but isn’t the main trait/feature of his character which would make him very 2 dimensional.
When I was in school heterosexuality was never pushed. It was never discussed. The closest it came was in biology when teaching the functions of males and females in the reproductive cycle.
Why is it now necessary to introduce the LGBTQ lifestyle in school? It is coming across as indoctrination. It's acceptable to have the rainbow flag in the classroom room and wear pro LGBTQ t-shirts. Wear a pro hetero t-shirt and get sent to the principal's office for disrupting class by wearing an offensive garment.

The reason I know there's a homosexual agenda is because the actual number of homosexuals is very low... a few percentage points. Yet when you watch many tv shows and movies it's 50-80% of the characters. If we replaced homosexual with say black americans doing the same thing, then 100% of all characters on tv in a country where they're like 13-15% of the population would be black yet you would claim there's no agenda at work. The issue isn't having a gay superhero. Stan Lee created characters - especially in the X-Men comics - to highlight social issues for over 50 years.
The issue is taking a well established character and changing the fundamental core to fit the current social pressure.

Actually, call me old fashioned, but I don't think that any child who is still in primary school (<12 years old) needs to know all that much about sex full stop, and it doesn't matter whether it's "straight" or "gay" that we're discussing here. Maybe I'm unusual, but when I was so young I just didn't care about issues that bother adults so much. Know what I mean? We should just let children be children, and not burden them with crap like gender, race or the latest conspiracy theory about the environment. I mean, just look at how Ms. Thunberg turned out. She would have to be the most neurotic teenager I have ever seen.

I don't have problems, at least not with this. And I'm not blaming the gay community as a whole for anything. I'm talking about certain individuals who behave in a certain manner. I once had to attend a teachers' union meeting at which one particular lady seemed to feel a need to let us know, several times, what her sexual orientation is. It was completely gratuitous and unrelated to the topic under discussion. That's what I'm talking about. That "Bravo" I just wrote was addressed to FTnWo. This one of the reasons why my family no longer watches television. Sesame Street, for example, when it started back in the 1970s, was purely educational, teaching children numbers, the alphabet, how to count and starting out how to read! Later, apparently a new crowd took over, and now suddenly there was an agenda, to incorporate "social programming" about different sexual orientation, etc. Everything today has become politicized. I want education for children, NOT indoctrination, as seems to be happening now, and even, or especially, on college campuses!

Well I think teenagers should be the taught about things like this because they can make their own minds about it and see where it leads. For little ones, I think shows that are just funny and teach basic human lessons about how to treat others and being a good person instead of a bad person is best. I have no problem with LGBTQ pushing their agenda into shows but the little ones are just kids. let them be kids, let them enjoy their short period of ignorance. Let them grow up and figure things out on their own. Teenagers age's 15 and up should be the only group that should be watching anything related to politics.

i do not really have a problem with lgbtq characters being in a show and what not but what i do have a problem with is them taking an alreay made character who has years worth of backstory then just making then gay or black or what not just for sake of it
why not just make an original character who is lgbtq or what ever you want really

Well I didn’t judge different religions when younger because I didn’t think anything of them because I really didn’t understand the differences, just seemed like they celebrated different holidays, now I know I wouldn’t have been accepted by them later in life because of the differences, so I really didn’t understand homosexuality the way I do now, I just accept it because some people are different but I just don’t need it pushed on me the differences. I don’t think it’s normal but it exists, everyone is going to have an opinion on that it I have mine. I’m very surprised how how much you know for your age and surprised how mature you seem to be, usually can’t have a mature conversation with your age group so I do get impressed once in awhile by your responses but like I said we all have our own opinions on this.

Gay characters have existed before, but they weren't part of an ideological injection. The media in the last 7 years or so is different than what came before. Now, it's aggressive and shoehorned into everything. And in the context of the new wave of the DIE cult bombardment is sabotages the old content from 7-10+ years ago, which was then healthy is now tainted by this ideological push. When that ideology dies, only then can we have prominent homosexuality in content again, but right now it's toxic AF.

It isn't fair to enforce any sort of idea onto children. It isn't a bad thing to be homosexual, heterosexual, or bisexual. Nothing is "normal" and nothing is "weird." It's definitely odd to disregard the importance of heterosexuality, as it is necessary for a species to continue. That being said, there's ways for homosexual people to contribute as well, through donating. In my opinion it's important for the topic of sexuality to be taught. To let children know that it's okay to be homosexual, or bisexual. They shouldn't have to go through the mental stress later in life, and continue to be afraid of how people think of them.
@YukiCho I don’t understand who’s forcing ideas onto children. Children are forced to go to school until a certain age, do you consider that forcing ideas? I agree it is negative to force your ideas onto children but the people who are most guilty of forcing their ideas is arguably the religious community, I’d know cause I was raised by an overly religious mom.
But no one complains about religion, instead lgbtq people are to blame for the same exact things that straight people do and that’s what I have a problem with. Going to school to learn basics isn't forcing ideas. Though my schooling may have been a lot different, because I am from Taiwan. I am not sure what is taught in the USA. Forcing religion is also very bad. Religion is the cause of this view on homosexuality and bisexuality.
I am not sure on the laws around this in your country. My opinion wasn't taking sides. My opinion was a general overlook. I don't think anyone homosexual or heterosexual, Christian or Buddhist, should force their ideas on one another. These are things for the individual to understand for themselves.
Complaining does nothing. Ideas on larger topics are meant to be agreed upon by a large majority of people. Issues need to be presented in a neutral manner with a purpose of persuasion. Looking at both sides of the issue. Those against, and those for. Nothing will change if all people do is complain, and make very biased statements. Calling those you wish to persuade, "your enemy," only pushes them further away.
