So I was forced in school to learn math, even stuff I never used once in my life. Not talking about basic usefull math. isn't that the same situation? I mean yes math is not an important "value" (haha lol math does deal with values hahah). What is wrong with this? How did we come to a point where learning stuff is bad? Of course the right wing gets more stupid by the hour if they want to prevent every kind of learning. First book banns know they want to controle what people can learn, how far into "knowledge controle" do we have to go to realize what they want to do? by the way funny that someone pro-guns is pretending to "care" about children.

@gorydetails What I am saying is: why are people only mad about some specific things that are teached? because if you where against all form of control of what is teached than nothing could be teached in schools at all. I am under the opinion that we should leave the part about what is learned for those who are trained in teaching; Teachers!

Yeah sure why not. They are not making the decision for them and if my child would be legally allowed to do so and wanted to do so better get it done right. Not sure that is a good thing to learn in school therefore I would leave the decision on the teacher who probably wouldn't do things like this in a good schoolsystem.

It's just sad because while I support people who genuinely are LGBT whatever the rest of the letters are. I want to support people's ability to have the freedom in life to find what they believe is the truest version of themselves.

It's disgusting though, how it gets turned into a tool for politics and manipulation. I understand the desire to teach a little about this in schools. Just make it a little part of sex Ed or just have a day where it gets talked about. Why is it being forced on kids so hard. It doesn't make any sense.
