Why do conservatives believe children are suddenly being bullied into being LGBT instead of being bullied for being LGBT?

I transitioned at 14 in 2009 and my family hated it and I had to leave school because I was bullied into being suicidal.

This is the real world. LGBT people are bullied and told we're not supposed to exist and we're going to hell.

there's a thing called reality and conservatives aren't living in it.

It's not that they believe that they are being bullied into it.. It's that psychology has changed and not for the better.

Let me give an example. My cousin who was 10 at the time, is female, she however likes a lot of typical male things, she doesn't like dresses, she doesn't like dolls (never has) she would rather get down and dirty with the boys. Her school councilor has recommended puberty blockers and the like. Not happening by the way. It use to be that we accepted that a girl like that is a ton boy.. Now it's straight to puberty blockers and cutting off their breasts and the like. It's the same for boys who don't like traditional male things. When 9 times out of 10 they grow out of it. It's not that they are bullied into bring trans it's that the psychologists and councilors are pushing it so damn hard when a person is slightly different..

With my cousin, when they refused yo put her on hormones and puberty blockers, the councilors called cps.. Thankfully when they showed up at their house, they were escorted off the property at gun point.

And my cousin, who is now 19, in college, did in fact grow out of it.

So apparently someone gets deluded into thinking that they're now another gender (thank goodness my parents didn't allow me to chop my hand off when I was a kid thinking I'm a pirate!) and expects everyone to adjust their perception of reality to fit that individual's delusion. When surrounding society fails to do that, apparently that's "bullying" 🤷‍♂️ What's next? A schizophrenic complaining that I refuse to accept that a fridge is actually talking to him?

I think that the Conservatives don't realise how dreadful it looks that they are in such denial. conservatives are so fucking dumb. I'm starting to think that Conservatives pushed the "LGBT people and the Left are secretly grooming pedophiles" narrative as just a means to project their inner desires onto others, so people won't be suspicious of them actually being the grooming pedophiles, Like don’t they realize the conservatives aren’t going to spare gay people in their anti LGBT moral scare

They believe whatever validates their world view. The left promotes religious inclusion, the right sees the unstoppable tide of Islam. The left supports abortion rights, the rights make up shit about post birth abortions.

Because conservatives live in the real world- not in someone's anecdote 5-10+ years ago. Schools have been against bullying for over a decade, and have been using police to enforce these policies for longer than that. Furthermore, with Leftist ideology dominant in university's schools have continued to get an influx of Leftist and LGBTQ teachers who do things such as pledging allegiance to the pride flag.

The US Department of Education is also vehemently pro LGBTQ, so, even if a teacher/ faculty member wasn't they would be silenced. LGBTQ holidays ARE celebrated in nearly every public schools system.

Then, you have nearly 40% of Gen Z identifying as LGBTQ... According to any meta analysis the total Gay populations is no more than 3.5%; so, you're telling me that even Kinsey's number (drastically inflated because he was a pervert) of 10% is multiplied 4 times over, including those who are trans (which is a fraction of a percent, those who suffer from the mental illness gender dysphoria) among the youngest population and you honestly think that peers in school are not providing pressure toward inflating this number?

There are numerous examples of groups of girls (as women are the most susceptible to this idiocy) claiming they're guys then removing their breasts- not just a few girls in the group- THE WHOLE GROUP.

Homosexuality is not a good thing. It's unhealthy, and it doesn't fit into the paradigm of traditional relationships, which form the foundation of society. Most men who claim they're women are simply gay, which is why the gay population has decreased (proportionally to trans) as more gay men and women are simply claiming they're the opposite sex (gender is a fantasy to escape the fact they're claiming to BE the opposite sex). I won't even mention the sexual predator men who now claim to be women to shame lesbian women into sex...

These behaviors should have pressures against people doing so- if this includes bullying so be it. Social pressures enforce norms, which are essential in a civilization.

Conservatives who speak vehemently against the "queer community" don't want their children being told that LGBTQ is an acceptable lifestyle choice, or that it's not even a choice but it might somehow be who and what you are. They believe the whole thing is affront to nature, so it's not really a question of bullying.

They seem to believe that educating children and teaching inclusion is somehow going to make their child gay or transgender, when the goal is to stop hate and discrimination. I guess they think not preparing their child for the reality of the world they are going to live in is somehow beneficial. It’s funny how they complain about “woke” censorship but are the first to try to shut down honest discussions about race or gender.
