@Curmudgeon Yeah I remember at college they had a young guy come in from a Gay/bi homeless shelter and he told a story about his child hood, being sold for sex at age 5, etc, and how gay/bi kids are much more likely to have been raped.
No one asked the obvious question of "Is there causation of young boys being raped by men and then growing up to be gay."

I never accused you of anything, Iâm saying people with your beliefs are extremely horrible and detrimental to the lgbtq community. That isnât a false claim, itâs a fact.

Who do you think is perpetuating this violence against lgbtq people, do you think itâs pro lgbtq people? No, itâs people with you who instead of helping this community will spread harmful misinformation about them and even go as far to say their communities deadly meanwhile completely disregarding the issues that the lgbtq community has face historically and continues to face.
Everyone will have an opinion on something, however the issue is when your bias is actively hurting, perpetuating violence against, and harming a group of people. Itâs ok to recognized these biases and grow from them, itâs never too late to learn.

There are plenty of amazing lgbtq creators online that speak on their experiences and what itâs like to be lgbtq. Instead of making your own assumptions about the community, I suggest you at least try to understand them first and listen to what they have to say.
@RationalMale as far as Iâm concerned there arenât any studies with a big enough sample size for that to be conclusive enough, it also doesnât make any sense that youâd come to the conclusion that somehow rape had anything to do with sexuality.

I am not good at arguing points. I don't express myself very well as I am autistic. I agree with much of what she has to say; and she expresses herself way better than I ever could.

I mean, identity politics isnât inherently negative. We are humans and humans are bias creatures so you could argue literally any politics to be a form of identity politics as our beliefs and identities shape who we are, the issues arise when your identity politics are leading to hurting a certain group of people and or oppressing a certain group in my opinion.
For example, the white identity politics which led to the kkkâs formation in 1865 shortly after slavery was abolished and we all know how that ended.

It wasnât done on Superman and Iâm pretty sure it was canon. Iâm not sure you can look it up but either way itâs common for there to be multiple versions of one characters in the marvel verse. For example Myles morales has a bunch of different people that all act as Spider-Man just in different universes so itâs not uncommon for this to happen
