There's something about Morgan Walley, Post Malone and Geazy that get me.

Okay except for when I was in a phase in HS I never listened to a rapper consistently like that. I would have a lot of rap songs mixed in with metal songs because I can do that and be okay. Some people can only tolerate on or the other. I would throw so many people off wearing a Steelers fitted with a Nike Hoodie and Shoes with a Sony Walkman going around. You would assume I listened to rap. What do you want me to say? "Black" people just know how to dressy comfy lmfao! All the metal heads dressed in tight ass clothing and all the "black" kids wore nikes and air jordans and nice hats. Like tf you want me to say? XD
But I would listen to a lot of Underground. As far as Mainstream goes I would listen to like 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Luda, little Jon, Youngbloodz, sometimes a little bit of Biggie. But mostly it was Twiztid, Blaze, and ABK because they never took themselves too seriously (Boondox was another one I liked and his themes were serious) and sometimes made ups some funny shit like this:

I really do not like rap, but I don't bash it unless it's demeaning, gangsta bullshit - which I wouldn't know unless someone pointed it out since I'm not a fan! LOL Occasionally, I'll hear something really old school that I like, but by today's standards, maybe it isn't even rap? I've heard stuff by Rob Base, Eminem, Will Smith, and Heavy D that I liked. I think Coolio did a song or two I really liked. But these are all really old school people.
Oh yes - Rob Base made Joy and Pain, one of my favorites ever. Also Hype it Up, Get On the Dance Floor. I loved Heavy D. His stuff was so positive. His remake of "Now That We've Found Love" is way better than the original.

I liked some of Lola Monroe’s Songs and I thought Lisa Lopes in TLC was a good rapper and I also liked Damien in party of five. Will Smith was good on fresh prince of bel air but I felt like his other songs in his later CD’s were degrading to woman.

Before I found metal music in 2007, I used to listen to rap. Nowadays I only listen to rap when I'm in a nostalgic mood and in order to remember some of the very few good old days. One of my favorites and those who sing in English is Lady Sovereign. Some of the Bulgarian rappers sang in English too but not throughout the entire songs. But here are some who sang in English, so that you can understand at least part of the lyrics.
The first time I heard SOV was in a game - NFS Carbon. And I instantly became a fan of hers. :) The same way I became a fan of Hot Action Cop - NFS Hot Pursuit 2, a. k. a NFS 6. And Styles of Beyond ("Nine thou", NFS MW 2005, a. k. a NFS 9) was my phone ringtone for quite some time. :)
Speaking of NFS, there's one great American rapper you should hear, if you haven't yet - Capone. Two of his songs were part of my most favorite NFS game - NFS Underground 2. I can't remember which was the second song but I believe the one below was made specially for the game, altough this is not his best song ever. The best song is named "F. U. Your Honor".

Not my first choice on a playlist. But I like it when it's played. I like the more musical raps more often. May be cliche but Hamilton sound track tripped my triggers. As long as it's creative and not always just describing the they get nasty or about all the drugs. I like 90s raps for sure. Growing up everyone hated rap around me and I was kinda taught it was strictly music made for other races cuz noone could understand it.
