I would say only when I'm playing this newer generation of music types like the 8d sound. With 8d-sound you need earplugs because that music puts a different frequency sound in each of your ears which fools your brain to think that you hear the music playing everywhere arround you. It can create the feeling your on a festival where sounds come from different directions and it's a very nice experience of listening to music
