Do you think older or newer iPhones could be a good alternative for music players since the iPods are dead now?

I suppose they COULD, but it seems kind of silly to spend hindreds of dollars on a machine that spies on you and will only run with specific software when you can buy an mp3 player for ten bucks.
I use a genericMP3 player but before that I had my wife's old Samsung smartphone that I used at the gym. It could get wifi too which was nice.

I think they could, especially if you want to go somewhere and be free from calls. Example to the beach things happens what will be worst losing you main lifeline iPhone or the old iPhone
I think it's worth it especially if you use an eq app like "boom." I have a completely different eq for my pc. Peace apo. I've surgically eq'd all my headphones. And boom gets the closest to it that I've ever experienced through a phone.
no... whatever music those old devices can play, the newer devices will play them much better
