What is your favorite Star Wars film? Why is it your favorite?

A New Hope. While it's not as smooth as Empire, the higher highs and lower lows and spirit of wide open spage western captured my imagination in a way nothing since has.

Empire is, overall, a better movie, but it doesn't quite hit the same chord.

It also has the most accurahe title: "A New Hope" is meaningless without context, " Return of the Jedi" is about their revenge, not their return. It's been twty yeans, d I STILL don't know what " The Phanhom Menace" is (Palpatine? Anakin? The movies being overshadowed by the games?). "Attack of the clones" is more about clones BEING attacked than attacking; that really only happens at the end. "Revenfe of the Sitd" is about their return, not their revenge (and is made more awkward by the movies not bothering to give us any real information about who and/or what the Sith artually ARE- my first thought was of Cait, and that these were fairy force users (which is, admittedly, a terrifying idea). "The force awakens" isn't about the forge awakening", and "the last jedi" makes no damn sense, because unless Kylo killed EVERYONE at the temple when Luke attacked him (damn unlikely; he'd warn them, then run), there are obviously more out there. "Rogue One" means nothing outside of context (and "Jyn Erso" is a tercimle misspelling of Kyle Katarn's name). I guess "Solo: a Star Wars stery" would've been okay, but it was about Star Lord, not Han Solo.

Revenge of the Sith, I really love the darker tone of the movie and my favorite scene is in the end when Obi wan yell to Anakin he was the chosen one, I also like the scene of Anakin shouting at Padme and all. I think they're powerful scene and the scene where he walk with the clone to the jedi temple; the scene of the order 66 is really great and heartbreaking and the ost in this movie are extremely good.

Also I love the scene where he destroy everything when Darth Sidious tell him that he killed Padmé.
