No. 9/11 and the "War on Terror" made the 2000s suck, for me. Yes, there wasn't any woke BS and people could still tell jokes without some assholes Canceling them, but the 2000s still mostly sucked, for me. 2008 is the only good year I remember. I got laid on my birthday (November 8th), and I go a fat paycheck the day before.

your "good old days" fell hot on the heels of impeachment of president and included the dot-com bust, September 11th, worldwide terrorism gone rampant, wars in afghanistan and iraq, and widespread political upheaval. end of the decade included the worst economic situation since great depression.

It was kinda the height of technology before it became unhealthy in my opinion.
There was internet, but Social media and dating apps hadn't really taken off yet.
Internet porn wasn't so crazy and racist and mainstream yet.
Most people didn't have smartphones, and weren't texting or anything like that. There was no "Hook up culture" yet.
It was the end of an era, right before things got weird.

yes i miss the 2000s - early 2010s thats when i felt the internet was in its golden age back before all the worlds governments and big corporations controlled it

and video games were much better sense there was no live service updating u had to else a good game or else no one was buying it u could just release a shitty game and patch it later
