Anyone down to discuss Jurassic World Dominion?

I won't spoil here. I’ll accept PM requests for those who have seen it and want to discuss. Below is a general review of a a 7/10 film.
—The director cut the first 15 mins of the film! Like wtf. So the whole Trex evading the drive in theater isn't on screen.
—I dont even remember seeing the big mososaurus water ship scene.
—The trailer actually didn't spoil as much
—The first hour was too much talk and not enough dinosaurs.
—The OG cast didn't do much the first hour other than talk but were given more entertaining roles in the second hour.
—The second hour was amazing and Jeff Goldblum carried it with his wit and reenacting of OG Jurassic Park scenes.
—Newbie Kayla Watts is badass af! She’s like my 3rd fave JP/JW character after Alan and Ian.
—Maisie was less adorable and more annoying than in Fallen Kingdom.
—Everyone felt naturally included and nothing felt forced or political for once.
—Well, Claire and Owens hugs/kisses were forced af! They didn't even like eachother in real life and I could tell on screen.
—The raptor’s city scene and dino on ice scenes were the most energetic part of the film.
—The film really put the dinos in the background most of the movie :( Even Blue was more of a “cameo” than main.
—So apparently its easy to strangle dinos now with your bare hand lmao?
—Chris Pratt has never been all that to me but in this film, he was so sexy and dominant af! He and Kayla had so much confidence in their separate and combined scenes that i’d love to see them get down and dirty haha!!
—The JW/JP crews dont actually meetup until like the last 30 mins but they make it worthwhile.
—I’m still going to buy this on dvd (along with Morbius) since the director may release the extended cut there.

It was quite dull after the first action scene for a long time.

It did finally pick up again but it is not as good as the prior films for sure.

Like Star Wars, they try to play off some of the aging actors from the prior films, which works with some but not so much with others.

Its 99% better than Fallen Kingdom but yea it fell behind the others

I liked it, 7 sounds about right. 6 is yeah alright, 7 is good, 8 great, 9 what the fuck and 10 I can't believe they make movies like these. 7. Good enough to watch again in my book. I'll definitely watch it again.

I do, I wish we could have seen more mosa or blue in the movie. They appeared more to remind us that they're okay.

How did you feel about kayla? She was badass like how Alan Grant was back then and she oddly had more chemistry with Owen then his own girl 😂

I found it so weird how he took his time even getting to her. Like what was the point of her even having to inject out the plane if he and kayla survived lmao

Love jurassic Park. There's a lot of plot holes, I remember the last movie there was a weird mixed up morality involved like a dinosaur rights movement/ environmentalism that is mixed up when you think that introducing dinosaurs into the wild would destroy the eco system of the planet.

I thought it was dumb that they took the kid to the same place as Beta knowing she’d try to free the dinos. Like hello she freed the dinos last film 😂

I loved Dinosaurs so much as an elementary school kid that I developed a Latin word list. I read the name "Bronto" (high) "Saurus" (lizard). Jurassic Park was more powerful to me that any modern AV could be later on. Then I discovered a South American bird called a Red-legged Seriema. It was similar to (but smaller than) a real Velociraptor was. The ones in the series are more like Utahraptors.
This is a Red-legged Seriema.

It hunts much like a Velociraptor AND uses its sickle claw feet to disembowel its dinner. Here it is.

Perhaps all the Dinosaurs (Terrible Lizards) didn't all die out.

Haven't seen the movie yet. But I had a dream a couple weeks ago where it turns out Chris Pratt's character turned out to be the kid from the original movie. Had to get on IMDB to see if it was possible. Sadly, they have different names; so very unlikely unless he reveals that he had a name change.

That would’ve made so much more sense especially since he was out there with the dinos by himself for so long. Man I wish they would have made that the storyline

I went and saw Top Gun and I honestly do not know what all the hype about that movie was about, to me it was pretty bad and lame and definitely doesn’t deserve all the hype it’s getting so don’t even waste your time going to see it in the theater wait for it to come on tv , trust me lol

@The_Shadow_Dweller i got bored in the first hour so i never finished. The Tom movies i liked were usually the ones others didn't like The Mummy, Knight & Day, Edge of Tomorrow and MI3

Me and my girl just saw it Friday night and I give it 41/2 stars. I loved it all the acting, plot, setting, and special effects however it was just a little too long. I probably give it another watch from home. I like how they finally have ended the Jurassic world saga.

I'm a lover of alternative versions of movies I liked. Recently watched the director's cuts of all the Tobey films which I cried just for the intense nostalgia hit along with new scenes making it like the first time all over again with JK Simmons on top of his desk playing with the Spidey suit they found in the trash can. It's a whole trip for me haha. But I get that it ain't enough change for some. Das fine. I'll let choo know how it is.

It was just a creepy film to me. I enjoyed the happy singing moments but the baboon, hyenas and scar scared me as well as mufasas voice
