I usually avoid trailers but i’ll watch the little 30 second commercials on tv. Man these hoes basically spoiled the whole film like Fast 9 lol. But i’m still gonna go see it tomorrow hopefully. I love dinos and i love that the OGs are finally back in the game. Yet I’m sad to hear this may be the last installment. Welp anyways gonna buy a $10 coke icee and munch on some twizzlers and enjoyyy haha. This should hold me off until i get to a casino. #FeelFreeToList #JurassicPark

Well I just saw it. I give it about a 7/10. It was all over the place but got better around the second hour. I enjoyed seeing 2-3 separate stories melt into one. Only downside is that the movie cuts the whole 5 minute intro (which was a bit dumb anyways where the Trex walks through the drive in theater). I’d still recommend it. Plus they have little scenes near the end that relates to the original movies “survival/death scenes”. I liked it!!

Looks the most intriguing, I like their dino apocalypse sort of scenerio. Plus original actors are fun. I kind of want to see it turn into a Planet of The Apes story and we see a planet of civilized dinosaurs like Land Before Time or something lol. I highly doubt Jurassic movies are gonna stop though. It's very common to exclaim MOST FINAL INTALLMENT EVER when it's the last of just a trilogy to an ongoing saga. StarWars proved it much more money efficient to say you're finished and wait a generation to return as a big smash of nostalgia.

Oh I've seen that! haha I rewatch those trailers at least once a year for nostalgia. I remember seeing the amazing trailers for it all the time where the little egg stealer creature running off with the egg and drops it and we follow the egg on a little journey. Loved it and it scared me as a kid. It was fascinating at the time.

The original Jurassic Park was fantastic, but the sequels have all been dire.

I'm sure there will be more sequels sooner or later. Most likely, they will keep churning out large numbers of shitty, generic action movies (like Fast & Furious, Marvel, Star Wars, Predator, etc) - until it ends up as the dinosaur equivalent of Sharknado.

The same thing was happening to the Alien franchise, with a bunch of shitty action movie sequels, but with Prometheus and Covenant there was at least an attempt to make proper movies again (admittedly, it wasn't very successful). It would be nice to see the same thing happen with Jurassic Park - make more of a sci-fi horror movie again, with more suspense, instead of another dumb action movie (that we've all seen a thousand times before anyway), and without just trying to include a new, bigger dinosaur in every sequel (until they ran out and just started making up their own).

Alien and Aliens were both amazing. Prometheus and Covenant were not very good, but at least they were trying to make a proper movie again (directed by the same guy who directed the original, and wouldn't want to taint its legacy), which was very welcome after the previous instalments Alien Resurrection and Alien Versus Predator, which were both utter garbage.
I was never as big a fan of Predator to begin with, and the sequels just kept getting worse.

Probably not. The first movie was good; the subsequent ones forgot they were dinosaur movies and just became monster movies.

The first Jurassic World movie just didn't make sense; here's a dinosaur that's been genetically engineered to be able to evade modern detection methods, and that means... it somehow knows we're using them? And how they work? And all the humans don't bother to think actions through before taking them? I miss Tremors.

I'm REALLY curious, however, how this relates to casino urges; I don't know of any that're dinosaur-themed.

Yeah, in a theater and in D-BOX seats, but not for probably 3 or 4 weeks... let the rush of noisy people through it, and then go on a early morning 9 or 10am showing when hopefully not a lot of people there.

I did previous ones in D-Box seats and it really felt awesome, like I was being chased and moving, especially if they had 3-D, D-Box going... oh OMG better not get motion sickness or else.

Seven. If you love dinosaurs, you will have no shortage of that here. Dinos old and new will show themselves. And I mean old like the old jurassic park dinos.
I love the action scenes.
You follow two separate storylines that find their way together. I like that.
But the villains... the motivation, their script, I don't like it when it's obvious who is who. Also the movie seems like the finally cause of the cast in it, but it is an ending that kind of leaves you with questions.

No "Pause" button, no "mute the noisy audience" button, all the theatre movies come with DTS sound which I hate a lot bc the loud scenes are as loud as possible while the quiet scenes are so quiet that you need special equipment to hear what they're saying. But most importantly - no "pause" button when you need to visit the bathroom.
Whereas with a movie from a tor**** I can choose the release with AC-3 high quality sound where all the scenes have the same loudness levels.

Besides I don't like watching American movies with any kind of translation (subtitles or voiceover) and I can't disable that in the theatre. That translation rarely has anything to do with the real lines anyway. I only watch British movies with translation bc they speak funny and I can rarely understand what they're saying. 😆

Whenever they bring back the original protagonists, it tends to not work well, in my experience. Harrison Ford is a prime example of that :p Love the guy, I've loved his movies, and it's ofc nice to see him reappear in later sequels, but he's not the action hero he once was, and they keep bringing him back, lol.

I'm also not really a fan of the new Jurassic Park movies. They're mediocre, in my opinion.
