Do you highlight your books?

I really like that highlighted quote in Italian, but if you did that in one of my books there'd be hell to pay! 😡☺️
Pencils are just fine, though. Use a number 4 without much pressure and it barely leaves a mark if you want to erase what you underlined later. No fuss necessary.
Since noone is giving you a favourite quote, here is just something I reread recently in "Plato, not Prozac":
"Therapy, therapy, and not a though in sight!".
Well, that's not very satisfying, let's try something better, from Shakespeare's Sonnets
(15, maybe?)
"What is there in a name?
A Rose, by any other name
Would smell just as sweet!"
I highlighted my Introduction to Logic textbook in Fall 1982.
I got a C in that class, so it was worthless doing that.
I never defaced a book after that.
Textbooks? Yes. Read-for-pleasure books? Never. I feel like highlighting is a bit too extreme (for me!) and makes it feel like studying. I prefer the pages to be colourless
i was raised to treat books really carefully so no, i just use post-its.

Only my Bible cause it's the only physical book I read
I was always told never to rip or draw on books so I never have.
The only books I write in are the ones that are meant to be written in.
Yeah, if I'm gonna refer back to it for the next 20 years absolutely
No, particularly as I tend to only read something once.
Rarely. In fact, almost never.
I would never draw in a book.
Yes and sometimes 3 colors...
