Well he is real in the live action film… I still do not think he’s attractive, if anything he kinda repulsive, actually. Now is he good looking? Sure! But he behavior is disgusting, and downright toxic! (The character that is, not the actor playing him).

I saw this question days ago and I wanted to answer it but I've had too much going on. In the meantime I kept collecting little things to get back to this question.

Is Gaston attractive? Hmm. Well let me start with there isn't always A Gaston as in there isn't always a villain.

I have long had a fascination with this story. I've seen both the animation and the film in IMAX and regular theater I've owned the soundtrack from cassette CD and now digital.

I have read countless versions of beauty and the beast. From The originals to the current PG rated stories and even Eroticas. Here's only just pinch of the books I have read. But in truth my list is endless.

I have seen endless films and animations as well everything from pg-rated to triple x-rated.

I'm currently watching the 2017 Disney as I watch certain scenes such as the one you @Still-alive listed above I can say without a doubt I am NOT attracted to such a character as GASTON despite how good looking he is.

In the tale as old as time scene I have to say if it was I who's head and hair he gently stroked & cradled in his massively powerful claw and then was bent over so graceful and securely by him I would have locked lips with that attractive sexy beast in a heartbeat.

As I watch this next scene as the BEAST sings evermore my flesh always tingles and breaks into goosebumps.

I can't help but melt. My heart throbs. I get teary eyed. I want to grab that handsome creature by the horns and pull him to me. I would cradle him to my bosom stroke his face and whisper you will not be alone any longer. I have come for you!

At the start of the Disney versions it has that famous line "for who could ever learn love a beast" the very first time I heard it as a child my inner voice says "I can!" Til this day every time I see the Disney versions I have the same reaction. I Don't Force it. it just comes out naturally in me. The answer to that question is always "I can."

In the many different versions that I have seen sometimes the beast is harsh then reforms & other times he's absolutely charming from start to finish. I love the consistency amongst the stories though. All of the tales are about keeping promises discovering your strengths , loyalty, finding the goodness and positive in everything, being found and coming home.
